Even without free shipping, they were much less than the same product elsewhere. But the needles are an inch shorter than usual. Possibly because they came from England and standards are different?2Very nice smooth needlesI'm new at using circular needles (trying my hand at making hats) and these needles are the nicest ones I have! The transition between the needle and the cord is perfect; yarn doesn't snag at all. The yarn slides nicely without being too slippery as to drop stitches, even doing cable stitches. I will definitely stock up on the sizes I don't have!5Tips are too shortThe tips are too short. I work off the tips so that my stitches don't get stretched out. This is the technique that master hand knitters recommend for maintaining good tension. It is very difficult to work off the tips with this circular needle. They are light and super slick. That is fine for the work that I do (no lace).5Pretty good needlesPretty good needles, but no better than Susan Bates Velocity needles. I purchased 16 inch for kitting hats in the round. I would like the needles to be shorter with more cord, or with a slight bend in the needles to make these work better in the round, but these were made to work.I would buy addi turbos in the future if lower prices Susan Bates are not available....3Great knitting needlesI have quite a few pairs of Addi knitting needles. Addi turbo needles are smooth and help to speed up my knitting. I needed this size and length for a specific project.5Worked great on knit hatJust knitted a hat with this for my granddaughter. Had to switch to double points near the end, but that s normal.5Best needles ever.Favorite needles. I tried the interchangeable needle sets, but I like to use lace and fingering weight yarns -- and these just work better. Nothing is more frustrating that knitting with what amounts to being thread -- and having needles that catch at the join (where cord meets metal), or that just isn't pointy enough. These needles rock. I use lace needles and sock rockets and love them both.5Easy purchase, quick shipping, works greatLove the brand, I struggle with small needles so figuring out ways to navigate that. They are a great brand, yarn fibers do not catch at the joined areas.5
