This is a "Tarnish Resistant" wire than has so much on using real silver, I can only state, bends easily and repetatively, forgiving in that the tools for bending wire leave a mark on silver and other wires, this is the most forgiving of the bunch, Shiny almos to a fault, Fingers don't leave a telltale sign you have handled it, reasonably priced and redily available on the internet shopping stores, can be ordered in several lengths. It is well priced by Beadalon and worth the price especially if you use Prime and have to pay no shipping. Looks good as a very shiny silver for easy stringing or beading onto it, enough said. I love it. 5Not thrilled Not thrilled with this 3Not tarnish resistant Ordered this to make jewelry...the wire is turning yellow after 1 month noticed after i ordered more. I will now have to scrap hundreds of dollars worth of wire jewelry i cant sell this to my customers. Dont waste your money. 1Excellent tarnish resistant wire! Highly recommend! 5Five Stars Absolutely perfect for what I needed it for. 5Pretty shiny wire - Coating may be problematic This wire is nice and shiny, however it has a funny clear coating that gets fuzzy when you work with the wire. I also like to solder wire to wire and the coating makes it take longer to solder and exacerbates the problem with the coating. Great for wire work! 5Most nontraditional use of jewelry wire? A lot of ants find their way to my hummingbird feeder in the summer, and I read that they don't like to walk down a really thin wire. So I used this wire to make a loop about 6-8 inches long, suspended my feeder from that, and for some crazy reason it works. Only a few ants made it in afterwards.
