    FineI bought this when I was first starting out with macram . It s fine, it s a piece of squishy board! It should be cheaper, especially since it s the same design and ingredients that it was when it first came out years ago 3It's great. Soft foamWish they'd had this kind of board when I was doing macrame in the 70's! It's great. Soft foam, easy to stick pins in, self healing, plenty stiff to prop up. It's over a half an inch thick, if anyone was wondering (like I was). 5Macrame BoardThis item is a nice size for small macrame projects. I like the way you can use the sides to tuck your cording into. You can still use pins on the board which is self healing. There was a complaint i read, about the smell of the board when you first opened the package ( kind of "rubbery"), i took it outside and let it air out for a few hours. No complaints here! 5Great Work BoardFast ship. And great product. No more clipboards with limitations for me. This thing works great with its pin-able foam structure and the slits that run the full outside perimeter to help hold strands of thread when working on a project. Great invention. 5Excellent!After trying or "rigging" so many ways to do my various knotting projects, I finally broke down & bought this. Sooo glad I did! I can't believe how we'll it grips the thinnest of cording & string. Makes doing my projects so much easier & enjoyable. No more being poked by hard clipboards etc.. If you are new to macrame then I would highly suggest this board. 5Saves timeI know this says for Macrame, but I use cross stitching floss to make bracelets. This Board eliminates my strings from knotting up, which is amazing! I can comfortably hold this board in my lap and start making bracelets without worrying about anything getting unraveled. 5Not intended for children under 15First, this looks like a nice, well-designed board. However, I sent it back. I had purchased this board for my granddaughter as she loves to make bracelets and such. The description did not mention that the board was "not intended for children under 15". It was only when I received it that I noticed the fine print at the bottom. Other reviewers have commented on the chemicals it is made of and this notation made me very skeptical so I returned it. 2How did I knot without itI thought I was happy with the clipboard I had been using...little did I know how wrong I was. How did I function without the edge slots? I often work with 16 or more threads and can't describe how much easier it is to be able to tuck some out of the way whilst I knot others. The printed grid is terrific (though it would be nice if there were a metric grid printed on the other side)...no more searching for the ruler that I can never keep track of.I opened the board anticipating the awful odor that so many complain about, but my board was-happily-stinkfree. It doesn't "heal" as well as I'd hoped, so I make sure to move projects around so all pin holes aren't bunched in the same spot.All in all well worth the money. 5Use this for beaded wrap braceletsI was looking for a board to use for making wrapped beaded bracelets. This works great instead of using a clip board. 5
