Beeswax is a top choice for melting or chopping it up to create your own lotions, lip balms, creams, waxes, body butters, deodorants, and salves. Beeswax is also rich in Vitamin A which aids in cell turnover and reducing wrinkles and age spots while moisturizing your skin - without clogging up your pores!
Our Beesworks Beeswax has a subtle fragrance which also makes it great for crafts, such as candle and soap making, lubricants, furniture or boot polish, granite countertop polish, cheese waxing, beard and mustache wax, wax thread, beeswax crayons, envelope seals and more!
Beeswax pellets are the most convenient and easy form of beeswax to use. Pellets are very easy to measure in the precise portions you'll need for many applications that use beeswax. The uniform size of the pellets will melt more quickly and evenly. When melting beeswax, use a water bath by placing a smaller pan of wax inside a larger pan of water.

Customer Reviews
Smells Horrible!!!although this beeswax is easy to measure and melts uniformly, it stinks!! it smells like rubber and chemicals in both the packet and once melted. even after adding essential oils and other ingredients like Shea butter, the finished product still reeked of a burned plastic/rubber scent. very disappointed that my other ingredients went to waste as well as my time and money on this product!!1Horrible smell.Smelled of burnt something.... I couldn't get rid of the smell even after melting.1Stay Away from this!SMELLS INSANELY HORRIBLE!!!!!I should have read the reviews instead of just looked at the rating. How did this junk get 4 stars?! I can t get the smell out of my house. What a waste of money.1Some poop may not smell as strongly as other poop....but its still poop any way you look at it....or Beeswax?Ok, it doesn't smell like poop, but I feel like its an appropriate comparison.I have previously bought 'Organic Beeswax' from other sellers and they came with horribly strong smells. this one also smells bad, but not quite as strong. This may almost seem like a point of this being superior product, untilllll you either purchase some beeswax from a local bee keeper or receive beeswax to find that it should not have ANY smell that makes you think it's probably has more in common with petroleum distillates than bees/beehives. When I melted it (In a water bath!) it has a slightly stronger smell that reminded me more of burning or molten tires/rubber. Melting beeswax shouldn't make you think more of vulcanization than 'Tested and Certified' Organic products. At first I thought maybe I received a 'bad batch' but I'm doubtful of this since They wouldn't have shipped it to begin with. Or maybe the idea of quality control doesn't come into play with some companies these days. Either way it makes me cautious about the representation of it being a 100% tested and certified organic product. The seller gives an answer to one of the questions in the Q/A section on whether or not it is indeed 100% USDA certified as organic with: "...is tested and certified organic by the supplier. It is certified through Quality Assurance International."HOWEVER....When you look at the products packaging there is no certification stamp/label, nor is there any mention of the supplier or for that matter the Third Party Certification group (in this case QAI-inc) The seller claims their supplier is Certified by QAI-inc but does not give any further details that may be verified-such as the supplier's company. After doing a quick search on quality assurance international's site of Compliant Companies for 'Beeswax' products-the following are the only ones.Maybe 'Natural Planet' can enlighten everyone of their supplier or (if for some reason this is a secret) provide some information so its customers can actually verify whether or not their '100% Organic' 'Tested and Certified' claim is true or if this is just a bunch of overpriced cheap petroleum based wax with yellow dye.I would give 2 stars, but it shouldn't have to be so much work by the customer to find out if the product they're purchasing is what the seller claims it is.From QAI-inc's website:Handler (Distributor)Beeswax: Allyson Enterprises Inc-EC 834/2007 ComplianceBeeswax: Allyson Enterprises Inc-NOP ComplianceBeeswax: Allyson Enterprises Inc-US/Canada Equivalency ComplianceBeeswax Granules: Jedwards International Inc-NOP ComplianceBeeswax Granules: Jedwards International Inc-US/Canada Equivalency ComplianceBeeswax, Filtered: Glory Bee Foods, Inc-NOP complianceBeeswax, Raw Indian: Glory Bee Foods, Inc-NOP complianceBeeswax, Unfiltered: Glory Bee Foods, Inc-NOP complianceHandler (Processor)Beeswax: New Directions Aromatics Inc-CARTV label Only ComplianceBeeswax: New Directions Aromatics Inc-NOP ComplianceBeeswax Beads, White: Starwest Botanicals, Inc-NOP ComplianceBeeswax Beads, White: Starwest Botanicals, Inc-US/Canada Equivalency ComplianceBeeswax Beads, Yellow: Starwest Botanicals, Inc-NOP ComplianceBeeswax Beads, Yellow: Starwest Botanicals, Inc-US/Canada Equivalency ComplianceBeeswax, Filtered: Glory Bee Foods, Inc-NOP complianceBeeswax, Raw Indian: Glory Bee Foods, Inc-NOP complianceBeeswax, Unfiltered: Glory Bee Foods, Inc-NOP compliance2Smells Like Elephant Dung - Beware. This beeswax smells like elephant dung. I do not believe this is natural beeswax, but something else. Unfortunately, the return window was closed by two days before I realized it was the beeswax that was ruining my cosmetic products. Just awful!1Has a terrible smell. Waste of $11This product is not what it claims to be. No way can this be pure 100% organic beeswax. Has a terrible smell. Waste of $11.99. YUCK!1Incredibly Toxic SmellWow. DO NOT PURCHASE. Look anywhere else for this type of product. I ordered several bags to use to make organic, natural, CHEMICAL FREE candles. While this melted down the smell was absolutely terrible, however I thought it could be normal. Until an hour into melting the beeswax down and adding ample essential oils I had an intense reaction to the smell. I became dizzy, light headed and nauseous. DO NOT BUY.1I think others have reported this - but the smell ...I think others have reported this - but the smell definitely is OFF. It overpowered my husbands pomade I made - even with over 60 drops of essential oils!! Difficult to melt as well (more so than white ones I've purchased). If it's not for cosmetics, then go for it; but I will not be using for my Christmas candles I'll be making...*UPDATE*I used it for pomade and it had a funky smell - but it's WAY worse when melted for a candle and there is nothing to dilute it. The only way I'm able to use it up is by using tiny amounts mixed with better beeswax ... DEFINITELY won't be buying again.1My family says it smells like a barnI wish I would have paid more attention to the reviews. This smells just awful. My family says it smells like a barn. We make solid lotion bars with it and after making a batch we just wanted to throw it out because the smell of this beeswax over powers everything. I can't imagine a single person enjoying the smell of this product at all.1stinksSmelled horrible like some chemical has been used on it.1Great for chapstick making
I used these to make Chapsticks for Christmas presents (broke college student days) and everyone was thrilled with the quality! Very impressed with these beeswax
5Okay but may rethink next purchaseThis was my first beeswax purchase, I will say I did not spend a LOT of time shopping on here for it because I am a wife and mother with limited time...but I will start with what happened right after I opened the bag. I opened, smelled and examined them, seemed acceptable so I "closed" the bag - but it did not close, and WOULD not close, setting it down, I spilled some because my bag would not seal, so fair warning, I was picking up pellets for a while and they are tiny. Also, the people saying it does not smell good are correct. I am not sure what it is "supposed" to smell like and I am sure different bees/sources will vary, but I will say it was not particularly pleasant, but not absolutely intolerable. I used the beeswax as a base for healing balm, so I used 3 different essential oils - coconut oil - olive oil - and sunflower oil and blended with the wax. The wax's smell is not noticeable now - so if you are going to be blending oils/aromas with it, the smell should not be an issue. If you want to make beeswax candles however I cannot say you would fair so well. I actually made a small candle with the pellets I spilled, and it smelled so bad I added some orange oil thinking it would cover it up but it did not - I am not a candle maker I just thought I would give it a try but - that was my experience. My salve seems okay and smells good with the oils I used (lavender, peppermint and lemongrass) ... I do think I will be seeking a different source next time though...3Smells like smoke/chemical :(I've used a number of brands of beeswax to make the natural skincare products I sell. I like that this one is organic BUT it smells of smoke/chemicals :( and made my lip balm smell of smoke/chemical too. Not recommended!2
