    but I really love this cdNot a fan of country music, but I really love this cd. I bought this for my wife who loves country. We both enjoy this. Especially the ugly Christmas sweater song.5Fabulous CDThough I've really not been much of a Trisha Yearwood fan as the bulk of what I've heard has been on her cooking show, I thought her performance on the CMA Christmas special was fabulous and so figured I'd pick up the CD.I am VERY glad that I did so.I have a slew of Christmas CDs but for the majority of them, there are only a few songs I like on each. I like every song on this CD and though Garth sounds like Garth (which is a good thing), I am pleasantly surprised as to how beautiful Trisha Yearwood's voice is on every one of her tracks.I also appreciate the fact that it does not have nine standard Christmas songs and a couple of new ones - this whole CD is new songs and they all convey the Spirit of Christmas.5Awesome CD! Love Garth Brooks + Tricia Yearwood!Can't really say anything negative about Garth Brooks and Tricia Yearwood! I love both of them and I love, love, love this Christmas album. It's just the right mix of songs - and it's one of those CD's you could listen to over and over and not grow tired of. You won't be sorry with this in your collection!5Very fun & enjoyable!I bought this album as a Trisha fan, but I like Garth's voice as well. Seeing there weren't many traditional Christmas songs, I was a bit concerned, however, many of these songs are so sweet and sung in such a lovely way, I really enjoy them! Personally, I love "Marshmallow World" - just a very cute song, "Ugly Christmas Sweater" - this one made me laugh!, "Merry Christmas Means I love you", "Hard Candy Christmas" - I nearly cried at this one, just beautifully done, and "What I'm Thankful For" which has James Taylor on it.If you're looking for more traditional Christmas songs, it's best you get Trisha's first Christmas album, the Sweetest Gift which has many traditional Christmas songs, or Garth's two Christmas albums, again both have loads of traditional songs. This album may not have all of the traditional songs but it's really fun to listen to, and a bit of a change from the same old songs you hear this time of the year.4Two of my favorite singers but song choices fall shortI love both of these singers. But there is not excitement in this release. I would have preferred more traditional songs and at least a mention that is is a religious holiday. But what got my attention was that I saw the old Dolly Parton song "Hard Candy Christmas" I loved this version as well. Worth Buying just for that song alone.5Soon to be a ClassicI've been a Garth fan since I was 19 and I've been a Trisha fan since I was 22. To see these two do a Christmas album makes me happy. I especially love Trisha's rendition of Dolly Parton's Hard Candy Christmas, and Garth's hilarious Ugly Christmas Sweater. Excellent. I love it. The whole album captures the spirit and love from one of one the greatest power couples in the Music industry.5A Great Gift Idea that was Truly Appreciated!I bought this CD for my sister who lives out of state and had mentioned she'd just heard this particular CD had just come out and couldn't wait to get it. Because she lives in a very small town surrounded by rural area and unable to get to a store that often, I ordered it to be shipped directly to her house to arrive a couple weeks before Christmas. That way she could enjoy this Christmas music leading up to and even during Christmas day - which is exactly what she told me she did! She LOVED the CD and played it often while doing her house work and her sewing. She told me she truly enjoyed this particular CD very much! I am happy for the quick delivery Amazon always has and that it arrived unharmed and ready to use! It may have arrived early, but it was her favorite Christmas gift, and one that will also keep on giving for a lot of years to come!5AwesomeI listened once and wasn't thrilled. Then I listened again and got hooked. I don't know how they do it but they did it again. I can't stop listening! I love it.5
