Great hook and comfortable!
When working on small scale thread an ergonomic handle is a MUST. This hook has excellent form and function and have bought them in other sizes. Very comfortable in the hand and hook is smooth. Great hook!
5Perfect for Dreadlocks
My boyfriend and I use these as dreadlock tools. After losing a more expensive product specific to dreadlocks and needing something that would arrive fast, we expected to use this product until we could buy our regular tools. However, this product has surpassed all expectations. It works just as well and is much more affordable. Love them.

5Helps minimize arthritis pain -- best I've found so far ...
I've used the Clover Soft Touch aluminum hooks (the ones made for yarn) and had a good experience with them, so when I decided to take up thread crochet again after a 10+-year hiatus, I didn't hesitate to order the Soft Touch steel hooks (I purchased both a 1.5mm and 1.75mm).I have fairly severe osteoarthritis in my hands and wrists, so finding a comfortable crochet hook is crucial. I've tried a number of other brands/styles (including the Clover Amour), and this one just seems to work best for my particular issues. I'd like it to be maybe another 1/2"-3/4" longer, but it's OK, and I can usually crochet for 3-4 hrs at a stretch with minimal pain/discomfort. Other hook styles/makes resulted in fairly severe pain after only 15-30 minutes or so -- even much pricier ones specifically designed to be "ergonomic."I'm not saying this one is perfect -- but the size and shape seem to work best for my particular situation so far. For now, it's my hook of choice.
4The best steel hook made
This is one of the best hooks for crocheting Amigurumi in fingering weight yarn. No way would I have used the traditional steel hook, this hook has a nice feel, good resting place for your thumb (should you crochet overhand like I do) and a straight shaft making crocheting flow much smoother and faster. And it has a steel case to cover the hook and shaft when not in use, further protecting your investment. What a great and considerate idea. Mine is getting a workout and I love it more each day.
5Be careful to not poke yourself
Got this for dreadlocks maintenance. .05 is very tiny and perfect for the job, just be careful, I stabbed my fingers multiple times.
5So excited and using this for starter dreadlocks on straight hair.
I was so happy with the quick arrival. Im going to be using this for my daughters hair to start her dreadlocks on fine hair, of course this is not recommended for black people hair( i am black myself). I decided to do the crochet method after backcombing some of them and now I'm doing the twist and rip method, with this hook. This hook was recommended by a loctician as this hook is the smallest to get the hair tight. I Will update once i have started and will post a pic.
5This is BY FAR the best crochet hook for dreading your hair
This is BY FAR the best crochet hook for dreading your hair. single handedly dreaded and maintain my locks with this guy. I have tried many sized (0.7, 0.9, 1.3, 1.5, etc) and they are all way too big. I have been in the business of dreading others' hair for 2 years now and this is literally the only tool I need. Combs, wax, and all that jazz are just not necessary with a 0.6 mm crochet hook.
5Works well for adding beads to knitting
I bought this to add beads to a knit project, and it worked very well. I can't speak to its use for crocheting, but for adding beads to knitting, I would recommend this for anything from cobweb to fingering or sock weight yarns. I was able to fit up to three round beads or two faceted beads on the shaft so I didn't have to break my knitting rhythm quite so often as if I'd only been able to put one bead at a time on the hook.
511/0 seed bead tool necessity!
I'd tried several other tools to add 11/0 seed beads to a knitted scarf, but this is the only one that actually works. The shank below the tip is tiny and accommodates several beads before slipping each one onto a knitted loop. Other tools don't work, such as a big eyed needle ( won't pull through the bead + yarn), and a wide eyed twisted that collapses as it's pulled through ( have to reopen the eye for each bead). The handle is very comfortable, and the hook comes with a metal tip cap.
