I use it for threading heavy threads and it holds up well, much better than any other threader I have found. I am a repeat buyer and will continue that as needed. The other threaders have pulled out or broke with the thread I use. After a long time these get stretched out straight, but never had the wire break. Not that people get real excited about needle threaders, but if you work with heavy thread and fine needles this is the threader you want to try.5Great choice! Sharp and thin, high quality! 5Great for hand embroideryPurchased these needles to use in hand embroidery. I was told Milliners needles are the best for French Knots and for Bullion Knots. They work like a charm because the eye of the needle is a slim as the shaft, so the thread can be brought through the knot much more easily.5I would give this more stars if I couldThis little thing is absolutely genius if you have a large hand sewing project going or like to bring your sewing with you. I love not having to stop and thread another needle every ten minutes! Be sure not to knot the thread or it will tangle, but follow the directions and it works like a dream. I also run my thread through conditioner before I wind it into the holder which might be helping. A bonus- because I always replace the needle I am taking out with the needle I just finished with I get no more needles going awol.5Has held up well.This works so much better than trying to thread a needle without! Seems just a little flimsy with the wires bending out of shape but I ve used it quite a bit and haven t broken it yet so it has held up better than expected for my hand quilting needs.5Love this!I love this item! When hand quilting, it's easier to thread 10 needles at one time and have them ready when needed. Keeps threaded needles neat for travel quilting. I haven't had any issues with thread getting all mixed up. Also it's great to include in a sewing kit for travel or gifting. Needles can be loaded with white, cream, black, navy and brown, and ready for quick repairs. I haven't had a thread issue with removing a pin out of order with this unintended use of the needle case..5
