    Don't buy these!I have absolutely loved this type of pin made by Clover. I have some that were in smaller quantity sold on a card. That's why I bought these...because it was a lot of really good pins for a good price. But these ones are like nails! They are visibly larger in diameter and not very sharp either. Needless to say I am very disappointed with this purchase, but it's too late to return them. Thinking about writing to Clover to complain.1Good Value for a Useful ItemI am a quilter, and so my need for straight pins happens often. I lose them, they get bent or dull, or I leave them at a gathering. I picked the flower head pins because they lay flat, which makes them easy to use. The come in a variety of colors in each box, so selecting them to keep track of which blocks I've made go where can be easily color coded. The price is better than the local quilt shop, and with Amazon Prime they arrived the next day! Overall, a winner.5Best pins ever.These are my all time favorite pins. Not only are they pretty but they are super sharp and slide easily into all of my fabric projects. I use them for bags, quilts, clothes, you name it. The heads are flat so they don't get in the way or distort your fabric if you sew with them in...which I know you aren't supposed to do, but I do it anyway because I can. I've tried other brands of pins but they simply can't compare to these lovely little pastel flower head bundles of joy.5Functional, long pin for standard sewingThey are a bit thicker than I might normally use. However, given the length of the pin, any thinner and they would be more prone to bending. Overall, I'm happy with them. They work really well for laying out patterns and pinning down seams. I will not likely use them on fine fabrics, but for knits and woven fabrics they work great.4Very good quality pinsThe only problem I had with these pins was that they were slightly thicker than the flower head pins I previously had. However, the result is that they don't bend nearly as easily and the tops seem to be much more securely fastened to them. I like them a lot but they do tend to make larger holes in my fabric and distort things a tad more. I do like that they're so sturdy though.4Best pins I have ever found/used. Worth every penny. Buy some!Best pins I have ever found. Well machined with no burs or thick.thin spits. Heads never some off, and are remarkably easy to slide without any snagging. This is well polished metal here. Thick easy to grip slightly ridged heads (also improving grip). These stay in fabric and yest are easy to remove with a flick of a fingernail if necessary. Much longer than most pins you can get in store now. I have successfully used on thick and thin fabrics with same level of durability and usefulness. They come in different sizes and this size is the standard sewing size.5For thicker fabrics.Easy to grasp. I use this type of Clover Flower Head pins for thicker fabrics. (The blue flower pins are for thinner fabrics.)5Not long lastingI bought these based on the reviews...at first they are good but after just a few uses they become extremely dull, which results in large holes an broken fibers....I've thrown them out and I suggest you do not buy...cheap junk!1Very disappointed! The glass head pins easily glide through fabric while these flower head pins do not. The flower head pins don't seem as sharp (perhaps because they're a bit thicker) and they feel rougher as they're pushed through the fabric, while the glass head pins feel smoother, as if they've been polished more. The flower head design does give you more to grab on to but overall these pins were a disappointment for me.3
