    Not Quite YellowIn the picture the thread looks bright yellow. My first impression when I opened the package it came was "Well that's not yellow, that's orange." It really does look like a shade of orange. I saw on the package the color is "Golden Yellow." It is definitely GOLD not yellow.4easy to work withI use this thread to make blossoms that I put on flowers and give away. I love the way this thread is so easy to work with . soft enough to not split when doing fine work like this. The colors available are perfect for my project too. I also liked the prompt delivery !5Nice economical thread choice for crochet ...I do a lot of thread crochet -- doilies, lace trims, etc. -- and Aunt Lydia's is one of my favorites. It's one of the more economical choices (compared to the "luxury" brands), and it's a consistently good performer for the kinds of things I like to make.The colors are good, too -- I chose this "Cream" to use with some small crochet mandalas. The yellowish tone worked perfectly with other Aunt Lydia colors (Maize, etc.) to get the effect I wanted of shading from light (center) to dark.Definitely can recommend this -- good quality at a good price. I like it.4Great yarnThis is a great quality thread, but I have to say, even though I gave it 5 stars, I was disappointed. This is the Shades of Purple from days gone by, but instead of the dark purple they used to use, it is now shades if pale lavender with no deep purple in the variegation. So, I couldn't match it with the older yarn and will have to use it for something else. If you are looking for the old shades of purple...that matches their solid deep purple, they apparently don't make it anymore.5Beautiful colors!What beautiful colors!
