    FairI used this string for my string art projects. This gold wrapped around the yellow string unraveled straight away without pulling hard at all. Not sure how it will hold up with actual crocheting, but not the best for for other projects.3Perfect for snowflakes ...This review is for the Silver version of this thread.I've used this for years to make crocheted snowflakes, along with the white/pearl version. I just replenished my "stash" of this so I'm ready for next Christmas projects.Normally, for size 10 thread, I use a size 8 (1.50mm) hook. But for this, I find I need to use a slightly larger hook -- 1.65mm or 1.75mm -- as the additional metallic filament increases the diameter of the thread just enough that it makes using the smaller hook difficult -- it's too easy to snag the filament without the thread when I'm going fast.4Lindo colorEs hermoso el color pero es muy peque o. You have to constantly stop work to untwist it. If you have to pull out a few stitches, the metallic filament breaks and frays out of your work. The regular Aunt Lydia's thread without the metallic filament is so much easier to work with and the finished product turns out much better. Don't mess with the metallic. Use spray glitter if you want the star to have some shine.1
