    Works very well I have a coat that the zipper died on had to either replace the coat or get a replacement zipper. I found this one which I was very happy about. It went in the coat easy and works properly. Make sure it's properly sewn at the bottom end, I ended up tacking it a second time. It's a great replacement zipper and I think it will be more durable than the original one. 5Good zipper Nice zipper! Came with good instructions! 5Did the job. I used these to convert my husband's motorcycle pants from normal pants to the type that unzip up the inseam, nearly to the crotch, so that he can put them on without having to take his boots off. Project was succesful and the zippers worked great. I bought separating zippers because at this length, they're cheaper than buying non-separating zippers. I just sewed the other end of the zipper shut. 5Good zipper, best friend It worked well for my project. Applies easily either with a zipper foot or the old fashioned method. Honestly the main company I go to for zippers for all my projects. 5Failed in the Cold! I got this zipper to update my Eddie Bauer Down Parka that was purchased in 1997! It is a great, warm jacket that I only wear in the coldest of temperatures in Chicago. Imagine how disappointed I was when the temperature dropped to 10 degrees and my zipper failed on me while I was in transit! The actual pull came off in my hand and the middle of my jacket opened up on me! Luckily, my jacket had button closures at the top, middle, and bottom. This is not a durable zipper. Maybe OK for fair weather environments, but not for what I bought it for. 2Repair Item This was used to replace the broken zipper in an old coat and its very strong and sturdy. Since the coat didn't fit me I gave it away for someone else to enjoy it. 5Five Stars Just what I wanted good quality DURABLE 5Works as designed! Very strong and durable! What can I say except it works as designed and very strong and durable. I would reconsider though using this in certain craft sewing items, like book or bible covers, since the dual zipper when opened won't allow an opened book to lay flat. If you get a much longer zipper it might be better, but then at the separating zipper end the zipper pull will create a bulge in the book spine area. I didn't want to find out what damage that would make on my new bible so I just switch the zipper out and used a regular zipper instead.I just Coats & Clark would make longer regular zippers as well as single ended separating zippers. I could not find them anywhere. I don't like the zipper rolls where you cut the zipper to a desired length. 4Zipper fell apart after a week Replaced broken zipper on jacketAfter a week the two zippers will not stay on the bottom of the jacket.They just fall right off. 1Heavy Duty My husbands had a fight with his coat's zipper and he lost. I couldn't find a "dual" zipper locally. This fit the bill. Easy for me to replace and he thinks it looks fine. It appears sturdy but he hasn't used it yet. For those who need instructions, there are none. You can find a video for replacing zippers on the computer. 5
