Customer Reviews
Yes yes and yes. Don t buy any other ones!I would never buy any other! I teach kids classes and they are so rough on my other scoring tools that have fine wire bristles - mush them together and bend them all up. These brushes are kid proof. Really sturdy and I enjoy them more for my own pottery.5Sturdy, just watch the metal ball pieces.Well as soon as I opened the package 2 of the metal ball tips had come out of the holders and laying in the package. I did get some superglue and glued them back in and so far so good. I do enjoy working with them as well. They seem sturdy and light weight and of good quality.4Review on ExtruderI bought the extruder because the reviews when I clicked on it were so high. It was my bad that I didn't read them to relieve that most of the positive reviews appear to be for other products - not the extruder I was buying. When it arrived, I was so excited, I used it right away. I put in my clay and pushed out a square log. Then I decided that I wanted to try a different shape and thus began my nightmare of trying to get the cap off. It took my husband, a vise and crescent wrench to get the top off. When it came off it became clear that the seal around the head didn't work and clay had gummed up all around the disc, sizing the piston in place. So, I'm going to look for a new extruder and I suggest you do the same.1Does a Good JobI am using this tool to extrude clay for surface decoration and making handles for pottery teapots.Keep in mind this tool is SMALL. Really designed for cake decorating. But if the clay is very wet and soft, the tool can push it through the dies with no problem at all.The die cut-outs are pretty small also; the largest opening is maybe 3/8 . But the tool does work just fine.5You get what you pay for. These are utter garbage.Broke within minutes of use.1Unfinished... Not ready to use for sculpting or pottery, any stick would work as wellThe price was reasonable except that these sculpting tools were not ready to be used without sanding. They were barley in the shapes showed on Amazon. They are NOT ready to be used for smoothing or even medium fine details. These tools would cause more harm in sculpting than they would aid in artistic creating. I've seen better quality in the simplest children's/beginner tools sets. I may take sandpaper to them some day, but right now they will live in the back of a drawer somewhere in my studio.2MUST THREADLOCKOverall quality is questionable. It sure looks nice but make sure you use thread lock on the shaft. Wife spun it down till it bottomed out and I had to use channel locks and pliers to get it back apart chewing up the body in the process. The T handle kept spinning back off the threaded rod. I put blue thread lock and let it sit overnight. All is well aside from the now chewed up body and the burrs.3Broke the second time I tried to use it.I bought this extruder as an extra for a class I run using polymer clay, the kids didn't even get to touch it, I used it once, the cap got stuck on and then the top with the winding mechanism unscrewed itself and now will not stay on. So disappointed. It is completely unuseable now and I can't return it, I guess I can use the discs for my other extruder but what a piece of garbage.1Awesome!I saw a lot of similar products that were more, and this one ended up being far superior. I love it!5One StarBroke on second use!!! Metal on screw shank shredded cause Extruder to sieze up and not turn. Junk.1
