Who doesn't love Copic?! I use this color so often, I've recently ordered another. I can't compare Copic to any other type of alcohol marker, as I'm sold on Copic. I have some markers that are well over 3 years old and still working perfectly. This is great as a light skin color and to lighten darker colors. I do store mine in a box so they stand up, with the wider tip to the top. 5If they simply offer a white-ink pen that's what I'd like to have Not sure if copic offers another product, but I do not see results with this white marker. I understand that it uses a chemical reaction to extract the color from already drawn on colors, but even with that I don't see it working the way I expect it to. If they simply offer a white-ink pen that's what I'd like to have.. 2Nice,sturdy marker housing. I bought an empty Copic Marker cartridge to fill with odorless mineral spirits to use to blend my colored pencils with. It is so handy! I learned about it in a group I belong to so I am unsure how safe this is or isn't. Just remember the oms are flammable and have a strong odor. Use by ventilation. 5Dried Out I dont know exactly how I feel about this marker. It came very fast (it only took a week) and it works nicely. The brush nib is amazing, i have other alcohol markers with brush nibs that aren't Copics, and they don't work nearly as well as the Copic. As soon as I used the marker though, it felt like it was kind of dry, and not as juicy as I was expecting. At first, I thought it was probably just me seeing things. But now (a month later), the Copic marker has just about run out of ink. There is still some left, but nothing that will be useful to color with. I rarely used the marker because I didn't want to ruin the tip. I used it for one medium sized drawing, and 2 to 3 little doodle type drawings. Nothing too drastic, and nothing that a marker full of ink can't handle. The picture shows the dried Copic marker on the right, next to a different marker that is not dried up. You can see the Copic is dry. 1Easy to use As a crafter, I saw this empty pen used for colored pencils. If you fill the barrel with Gamsol, you can use it to move colored pencil and create water-color looks. It works well, and I'm happy to have success. Would recommend this! 5Great marker, uncertain about strong bleed There seems to be a high amount of bleed in my marker, as the darkness is showing pretty greatly, otherwise, it is what it is. I was slightly disappointed at first to see that the E00 colour was faded with similarly salmon like skin colour and finicky colour cap like colour. Personally I found it to be useful when using the E51 colour as it seemed to serve as a sort of darkening aspect towards shading the skin and others. 4Very nice! First off it came super fast with free shipping, (Not prime) Bit shocked I got it in 2 days.Second I used Blick ink because I loved the color but not their markers as much as I do the copics. Worked as it should. (Rose petal and Butter Cream, so pretty)Finally, I bought 3, 2 for ink and 1 to use Gamblin Gamsol Odorless Mineral Spirits with. Holy cow did it work. May break down faster and not work within a few weeks but right now it does work. So if you want something to melt your color pencil art with and not have to use a paint brush, this will work. 5My Copic 110 Review I prefer this Copic black marker to the C10 and even Black100 Marker. Nice matte appearance finish. Top notch quality black ink, as if they filled it with dark matter from the black hole itself :D 5I wish I could give it zero stars Bough for my Design class. It lasted me a day and a half. I used it on about three to four and a half renders before it ran out. The chizzle tip dried out that fast, but the brush tip is still working. Thing is, I need the chizzle tip more. Terrible quality for any price really. I mean, it could just be one product, but still, for this to happen even once shows the bad quality. Also looks like a knock off when I compared it to my processors copics. 1Thank goodness that Copics are built to last... This marker works great.... Now. When I initially received it, the cap was off on the brush-tip end of the marker, leaving the brush tip stiff and the ink on that side of the marker sticky. I thought I was going to have to buy replacement parts for a brand new marker. But I decided to set it aside and keep the marker capped to see if the problem would fix itself. It took a little over a month, but the brush did eventually come around. It now works like it was never left to dry out. Glad that Copic markers are durable that way. Just wish I didn't have to wait a month before I could use the thing. 3
