Craft Mates Lockables Ultrasuede Large Organizer Case, PurpleI am using this to store sequins and bought it after seeing online how others had utilized it for that purpose. I really like the Lockables for tiny embellishments or objects of any kind because they are designed to make it difficult to accidentally spill your pretties all over the place. The case itself is a bit looser in that regard. There is a plastic sleeve holding each Lockable container in place, allowing you to take them out one at a time. When the case is shut, everything is pretty secure, but when it's open, some of the containers slip out of their sleeves if the case is held at an angle. Still, it's a pretty good organizer for the price.4Secure Locks; Beauty, Travel Item This little organizer is surprisingly awesome! I didn t expect much when I ordered, but this case is more secure than run-of-the-mill craft boxes. The plastic is sturdy, and the long bar locking mechanism is unique. Once it s locked, it would be nearly impossible for one of the compartments to accidentally open. The locks are a little tricky at first and require two hands for easy unlocking (see video). If you have dexterity problems with your hands or significant arthritis, this product is not the best choice. The case has a low profile, so it fits well in shallow baskets/drawers. I use the case to organize sets of acrylic nails. I may use it in the future to protect small jewelry from kinks/dents while traveling. The case is not waterproof.5Great for my meds!I have one of the 14 compartment Lockables in which I was storing my medicines and supplements. I have an autoimmune disease and am deficient in many things, so I wind up taking quite a few supplements just to keep up. This organizer allows me to store my daily and nightly meds for 4 weeks. It also allows me to keep my children out of them. I don't have to worry so much, as they are old enough to know better than go in my medicines, but this has two parts to it where you have to push in on the left and simultaneously lift up each individual lid. Two part mechanism. I like that. There are two pieces of flexible plastic in each side, so you can store all 4 trays and they won't slide around too much. When closed, the two straps are set at exactly the correct place to hold in two compartments on each side without them falling out the ends. I ordered one for myself and then I showed my mom because it looks like I take an insane amount of pills. And maybe I do, but my step-dad does, too. Only, he uses a tackle box to store his. He is also an avid fly fisherman. I bought a second one of these for him, so he can use it for either supplements or for his flies. I'm attaching a picture for you to judge me as only a fellow Amazon customer can. I've been using it two months and I'm a little abusive to this thing. I already know Lockables last for years as I originally purchased one for jewelry findings. This case was just an added bonus, and the 8 trays of 7 compartments each are just perfect for what I needed!5FANTASTIC FOR DIAMOND PAINTINGFANTASTIC FOR DIAMOND PAINTING!! I use painters tape on the lid and write the diamond color number. The compartments are big so they hold a lot of diamonds. These also don't open unless you hold the side button in so no accidental spilling because it can't open on its own. Also makes travelling very easy if I want to take my painting somewhere else to work on. I am SUPER happy with this purchase and recommend.5Great price, excellent quality!!! Love these for organizing my beads. Each compartment comfortably holds at least 50 8mm sized beads, with room to add a few more. The locking mechanism is sturdy, and doesn't open unless you intend to open it, and you don't have to have the nimble finger dexterity of a monkey to get them open. Opening each compartment does require two hands - one to push in the tab on the end, and one to flip open the lid of the compartment you want. I have never had one open by accident or break. Very sturdy plastic, these last a while, through multiple opening and closings without a lot of weakening of the plastic at the seams where the lid creases to open and close. A very good value, in my opinion. And they stack nicely on top of each other and have little "feet" on the corners that, when they are stacked, prevent them from sliding around on top of each other. Highly recommended. 5The only storage I'll ever buyI purchased one kit at a local store. I then purchased another. And THEN I purchased even more online (a better deal). Each compartment opens individually - like a pill container. Way better, though. They don't accidentally open. They are even more secure than other containers because they are made of durable plastic and you have to push a button at the end of the row in order to lift the lid of the particular compartment you need to open. No spills unless you jostle the one compartment you open. I've purchase 3 more of these purple storage kits plus individual ones of differing sizes. I will never purchase different containers again.I store my lockables in a cart that has drawers. If you buy each little container individually, it costs you more. Buy the ultrasuede one here, and you get 8 containers with 7 storage containers in each row. The containers are clear, so you can see what's there.5Great for beaders! Excellent little organizers for beads, especially ones that are small or tend to roll all over when spilled. Each compartment can be individually opened or closed, allowing you to work with one or several kinds of beads without exposing all your others to spillage (this is particularly important to me as our dog once stepped on the corner of a bead organizer, and it took a LONG time to sort back all the beads!). The size is handy for travelling as well -- and the completely separated compartments keep beads or findings from mixing when the unit is turned or even upside down. 5Best pill box! Wonderful. I use it as a pill container because the traditional ones don't stay snapped as they wear and age. Nothing like traveling and then opening your bag and finding 100 pills spilled. The locking mechanism keeps the lids shut and the pills in place. 5Good size, but not durable.Nice size, but not at all durable. The very first time it was used, one of the little lids cracked along its hinge (apparently it didn t appreciate being opened very wide at all - I wasn t rough, I didn t use much pressure, and I certainly wasn t trying to force it. It was just the natural result of the top being popped up. ) But the result was that it opened 90 degrees - and that was enough to stress the hinge. And within 2 or 3 more openings it had broken entirely. It s still usable for the purpose I intended, since the locking mechanism means you can still snap the lid into place (for now, anyway). I just wanted it to hold stickers, and it s just going to be sitting flat in a drawer. But I wouldn t trust it to hold beads (or pills, if I were to go traveling, or anything that you re afraid will be a horrible mess to clean up). Just make sure that you lay yours on a table to open it, and don t let the lids open any wider than about 75 degrees.3Perfect for vitamins! I use these for my multiple vitamins when I go on vacation. One side for morning one for evening. Bigger compartments than regular pill boxes you get at the pharmacy. Fits larger supplements like fish oil which take a lot of room. Sliding bar locks all other lids down so they don't accidentally spill when opening. 5Horrible --- the lids will break off the hinges when you open them horrible!!!i just got this and each lid as i open it up it breaks OFF of the hinges!!!!total JUNKi want my money back!!!! 1I like Craft Mates Lockables in general, but the double 2XL 14-compartment module is poorly designedI really like Craft Mates Lockables. I can swap in to the purple case anything I might need to take with me for a particular project. The narrow 7-compartment and large 4-compartment modules work well. However...This 14-compartment module is poorly designed. Because the lids open toward the center, they push against the opposite lid. This stresses the joint, and the lid breaks off very easily, rendering it useless for any small items, such as beads. (You could store a larger item that could be held in by locking the one edge of the lid, because it won't fit through the broken joint.)I will not purchase this module again, but I will continue to purchase the other modules that are one-sided.3Best way to store small beads and sequins without them mixing! Honestly this is such a great invention. I have been struggling to find a bead container that won t open up and doesn t have a space between the lid and the compartments, allowing for the contents to mix up. I use these for sequins and seed beads because it s so annoying to have them be all mixed with each other. It s kind of hard to open with one hand esp when you are beading or sewing which is kind of annoying but if it keeps my beads and sequins separate I m fine to put down my needle and use both hands to open it. 5Pill Holder Perfect Used this for our vacation needing to pack 14 days of larger sized pills. Worked like a charm! Does not open without you pressing the lock and flipping the lid. Nice product and great value. Will continue to use on future trips. 5PERFECT Pill organizer!!I HATE doing my pillboxes bc I'm medically complex and take so many medications. It's just not practical for me to open all those pharmacy bottles every day or even every week. I love this organizer bc I can sit down every 8 weeks and count out 2 months' worth of medications.This organizational system eliminates the main problems I keep having with other pillboxes. Each individual box is plenty large enough for all my daily meds, including larger capsules and vitamin gummies. The lock mechanism ensures the boxes never open by accident if I throw one in my purse or my cat knocks it off my nightstand. I can easily see how many weeks' worth of daily meds I have left so I can plan when I need to set aside an hour to count out meds for the next 2 months again. And the purple case keeps all my prepared pillboxes in the same place, all together.This thing makes my life so much easier! So glad to have finally found a permanent solution!5Not just for beads!I actually got this to organize my earrings - my husband's idea! It's nearly perfect for that. You can see them all and pick the ones you want. Way better than my previous system, where some hung from an earring tree and others were jumbled all together in my jewelry box.I only have one issue with this. (It was of course designed to hold small beads and such, so perhaps it's not an issue for someone who buys it for that.) Each side of the "book" is pretty much a clear plastic sleeve. Into each sleeve, you slide 4 organizer trays with flip top lids over 7 divided sections (there isn't a separate sleeve for each each tray, which I think would be an improvement too). Each tray has one lock, with a button on the left side of the tray. This is great for the trays on the left side of the "book" because that's where the sleeve opening is, but it's a little bit of a pain for the right side. If the bin I want is on the right side of the tray - right there! - I still have to slide the whole tray all the way out of the sleeve to get to the lock button. A minor inconvenience, I know, but annoying. There could be a lock button on the right side for the tray on the right side of the book.5A great medication organizerI have about 15 pills to take twice a day, with about large pills, and could not find a pill holder that was large enough. The largest one I could find still did not always shut and too many times when I went to get the pills out for one day, the lid for another day would pop open and I would have pill spilling all over the floor. Came across a review about using a craft organizer as a medication organizer and that is how I found this. Works great. Large enough to fit all my pills and locks so I don't have to worry about the lid not staying closed.5
