A full price paid reviewThe DMC Variegated Embroidery floss I just bought and quickly received has many, many color variations that allow my new passion of T shirt embroidery sail much further in creativity than just about any other floss set I have purchased, and I have CASES of floss. As always, DMC makes a quality product. Today, embroidery is all about creativity and less about perfection, and this set really sets that creativity free. The color variations range from the warms to the cools in this set, boasting a few toanlities of each basic color...you'll get full sets of two greens, two reds, two pinks, etc, which, when combines really stretch the spectrum of colors. I am currently enjoying T-shirt work by first steaming lightwweight fuseable interfacing to the back of shirts (easy, lightweight and keeps those stitches from tearing the fabric) and then planning really intense graphics. The color changing allows for a real kaleidoscope of colors. I paid full price for these, and I'd buy them again. They wash well (I hand wash my embroidered clothes) and seem to stand up as we have all come to know by DMC quality. Take a look at my ongoing project and see for yourself. DMC is good embroidery floss so can't go wrong buying it. 5Great purchaseThese threads are beautiful. I use them to make small items and the variegated threads make fantastic designs. The fact that they come in this pack is also great, the price is just right.5Great for book binding or embroideryArrived as expected, I've used this brand and variegated colored thread before and love it. I primarily use it to do Japanese book binding projects which require a hand-sewn spine. Looks great as a contrast to the books I do with plain white thread, since the sewn spine is visible when completed.
