    can't go wrong here.Nothing wrong so far. I only initially needed a few to hold my microfiber towel to my snow removal brush. As to not ruin my car's paint.They seem very sturdy and well made. 4Safety Pins?!? More like, Safety WINS.I was thinking about awesome things to get myself pumped up to review safety pins....because these are AWESOME.1. They will pin your pants for hemming.2. They hold Bibs onto your shirts for when you Run at an Event.. and they don't fall off!3. They keep your fingers safe by not letting them get poked.4. There's 200 of them, so if you lose one, it's not a big deal! You have 199 more of them!5. They're Prime-Eligible, so they got to my house really fast!6. ...Do you need safety pins? I know a place where you can buy a lot of them, and have them delivered to your home! 5Sturdy Pins! YAY!I'm so tired of crappy safety pins that you can just bend apart with your fingers. WHY!? That's why I came on Amazon was to find some sturdy ones. I'm pleased with these. Heavier quality than the cheap Singer ones in the local stores. 5Strong and flexible!Love these, they are super durable yet easy to work with. I use these to pin clothes on hangers for consignment sales. I have used them for years and was disappointed in this purchase!I did not open these pins until I needed them, 10 days after the return date because I had no reason to think they would be such a rotten product....as I have bought Dritz safety pins to pin my quilts for years. Out of the 400 pins in this order I trashed more than 3/4 of them. They were worse than some that I bought at the dollar store. The finish on the points were not sharp, had a rough surface, snagged the fabric and flimsy over all. I have ordered I different brand to replace them. As anyone knows, that has spread out a king-sized quilt ready to pin, it takes a lot of preparation time. I live about an hour away from a place I can purchase replacement pins and was sorely disgusted to have to wait to get my quilt finished. My message to Dritz....get your quality control act together or don't represent these pins as a quilting product. 1To make matters worse they were all dullDO NOT BUY IF YOU WANT WHAT IS ADVERTISED! Besides receiving only 46 pins (with 1 of those damaged) and only 3 sizes, none of the sizes were standard safety pin sizes. Standard sizes are 00 = 3/4", 0 = 7/8", 1 = 1-1/16", 2 = 1-1/2", 3 = 2". Sizes received were 17 that were more than 1/8" larger than size 1, 20 that were more than 5/32" smaller than size 2, and 9 that were more than 3/16" larger than size 3. To make matters worse they were all dull. 1Quality really does make a differenceQuality makes a difference. I use lots and lots of pins for preparing garments for children's consignment sales. I have learned the hard way that all pins are not created equally. These pins are sturdy to handle items with some weight to them. They do not bend it break easily. They hold up to repeated use. The points are good and sharp to go through thick materials. Perfect size for what I need. Good quality at a good price. 5Good Quality Pins - Be Sure To Verify the Usable SizeSafety pins: The pin you need to put multiple layers of clothing together without getting pricked. Nothing unusual to say about them, but they seem to be of good quality. The ends are very sharp, pierce clothes easily, and are reasonably resistant to bending. The hole they create can be noticable depending on the fabric you are using, but that's to be understood with most pins. For practical purposes, take note of the "effective" sizes:Size 1: 1 1/16" long from end to end, but 5/8" is the inside length - the amount of non-bunched material that you can stick inside. 2/16" to 3/16" is the inside width (or height depending on your perspective).Size 2: 1 1/2" long end to end, 1" inside length. 3/16" to 4/16" inside widthThe packaging is a simple plastic shell on light cardboard as you would normally see in store. Durable enough to keep them together in shipping. I'm pleased with the product. 5
