    Great long and sturdy tape measureThe retail price is 3.39 but I ended up paying more because I needed it and couldn't find an extra long one locally. That being said, it's a great tape measure. It seems to be made of a sturdy reinforced vinyl and has inches on one side, inches and centimeters on the other. The metal end covers are fairly well finished so they haven't really gotten snagged on anything-sometimes really cheap ones get caught on fine materials. The only downside is that it doesn't have a case or strip of velcro to keep it closed. I ended up using a silicone hair band. It puts a little bend in it but not that bad.4BrokeThis broke after a few uses and it retracts back on its own. This makes it unusable for me because I'm a plastic surgeon, and I use it to make measurements and mark patients before surgery. I actually need it stay out to length long enough for me to make my markings and it's annoying when that stupid tape suddenly rolls back up before I'm done. For the price, you'd think it'd be better quality.2Gets the job done!Not much to say about a tape measure other than it serves it's intended purpose. I have the metal one, I think many people do but this soft, old school one should be a staple item in every household.5Great Tape & Quality CompanyGreat Tape & Quality Company.You can't have too many QUALITY, Accurate, Flexible, Long Lasting, Light, Pack-able, Easy Read, Clearly Printed tape measures! And lengthy ones come in Especially handy.(Metal tapes do Not bend around objects, nor contour to curves, etc. They are useful for straight lines.)We keep these around too & use them often. Would definitely recommend.5A household staple that everyone should own! A typical loose measuring tape... very reliable, I needed one after loosing weight, needed to take new body measurements for buying clothes. 5It wiggles out quite easily. Other than that It does exactly what it claims to do. All measurements appear to be accurate & it does make taking body measurements much easier. My only complaint is that I wish the end of the tape measure would stay more securely in the little slot that holds it while you measure. It wiggles out quite easily. Other than that, I'm satisfied with it. 4Tape MeasureAs I do a lot of online shopping, I wanted to take accurate measurements of myself so I could order clothes that would fit correctly. It only took a matter of minutes to measure myself and I now understand how to order clothes that will fit me properly.5Perfect Size This arrived sooner than the delivery date which is great I accurately measured myself so I can buy proper clothing in the future. I love this product.Its great it comes with two sides one larger version of inches and then on the back side I believe its also in cm. 5When measurement finished ... tape spring will randomly discharge like an inch or so..Really useless when taking "diameter/round" measurements, because kind of tape spring back-fire for about an inch.Could be just a defective item... not sure1AccurateThe one I received is accurate - I checked against known good tape measures (others said what they received was not). I do carpentry and wrench on the car as hobbies and need to make very precise measurements and this one is good.5An absolute must in my life.I have had this item for decades but lately can't find it anywhere and can't figure out where I left it. I have a round one of another brand that you'd think is similar enough but I just don't like it as much. I finally caved and ordered a new one since I can only live without it for so long. I love this little thing, the shape feels good in my hand to grip and maneuver easily while taking measurements around anything at multiple angles, including myself and my pets. I love that it has inches on one side and centimeters on the other which is especially helpful if I'm trying to do some online ordering. I know it's for sewing but I still reach for this when I need to measure household things like windows and wall spaces for furniture since it's so easy to use and feels comfy in my hands.5Measures too shortDo not buy this tape measure. It measures too short. I verified it against four different scales - two yard sticks and two different contractor tapes. They all showed the same result. It is 1/8" short in under 36". Since its only function is for measuring, it is useless for that purpose.1For fitness measurements, I lived without this for way too longI do regular (daily or weekly) body measurements, and this thing is saving me a lot of time and frustration. You can't mess up the reading by holding it wrong, and you can see the numbers regardless of whether you have it around your waist, chest, or some other appendage. It feels durable enough to me, though I am pretty careful with my things. I don't know how I could ever go back to using a sewing tape after using this. The best part is that because it stays compact and neat, I can take it in my laptop bag if I forgot to take my weekly measurements at home and do them at work.5
