    The right size for cushions.Have you ever had the buttons on tufted cushions come off? You don't wanna be caught without cushion buttons. Seriously, it looks like some white trash garbage. Spend a few bucks and get these needles. They're huge. The biggest one is like a foot long almost and while they aren't super sharp, they aren't dull either. They could double as lobotomy equipment if needed. I highly recommend.5Fabulous Product That Makes Many Hand Sewing Jobs Much Quicker and Easier!Never used one of these needles before, but they are very handy! I bought them for a specific craft project, and now I'm finding all kinds of things to use them for. I also got some upholstery thread, which is available anywhere. It is stronger than regular thread...which seems to be getting weaker every year. I just added these items to my sewing kit. It wasn t the right ones I needed1ToughDritz 9020 Curved Upholstery Needle, 4-PackI used these needles to place a denim patch over a hole in my pickup truck seat. The seats are pretty heavy duty cloth like a tweed pattern, and the denim is thick too. I had to wear a leather work glove to push the needle through the two materials but I got it done. It was a perfect solution for repairing a hole in a work truck. Not fancy but strong and inexpensive. I NEVER could have done it without these needles. They are heavy duty.5Works on thick, heavy upholstery fabrics. Good value.These are a great product. I had a much smaller set which I tried to use on upholstery fabric which did not work on my fabric. They were too light and small. (Probably the smaller ones are used for lighter fabrics, crafts, and similar applications.).These needles also have very large eyes to accomodate thicker twines. I used to sew fabric to springs and fabric to fabric like muslin, burlap and heavy upholstery fabric.5Good product, missing needle The needles seem fine and strong however my package was missing a needle, the package looked sealed and untampered. Seems as tho it was an honest mistake. I contacted Amazon and they were very helpful. I'm still happy with the product. 2Five StarsGood value! Worked great for tufting furniture.5really gd needles to use for tufting upholstery. word ... really gd needles to use for tufting upholstery. word of caution.. they are stupidly sharp. i mustve pricked myself about a hundred times a few times drawing blood. lol. but they got tyhe job done quickly and effentiently. just watch your fingers. they came install on a piece of cardboard in a plastic ziplock type baggie and that baggie was wrapped in bubble wrap. 4Long good strong upholstery needlesDon't let the photo fool you - these things are LONG.If you need an upholstery blade, these are perfect. The only drawback is there isn't a curved one, but as big as these things are, you can probably use one of them to lever up the cloth to do what you want.Good basic needle, excellent for waxed thread. By the way - order the waxed thread here/online; if you go to certain fabric stores *cough* starts with a J *cough*, they will tell you regular thread is what you need. They are incorrect. With these bad boys, you need waxed thread.5Very sturdy but WIDEConsider what you will use these for; they are all quite sturdy but will leave a much larger hole than you may be used to if the largest needle you have previously used is a regular needle, or even a carpet needle - they are also not as sharp, and will need more force to push through layers of fabric (e.g., if you are quilting), though the eye will easily accommodate the thick quilting cotton [cord] used to tie quilts.5Who knew a curved needle could change a life ;) ! These needles have changed my life and made mending heavier items possible.SturdyLarge eye for using thick threadSon's personalized athletic bag was about to be thrown away.1 curved needle and about 30 min of grit and determination saved the bag!The bag is now more durable than new.I look forward to finding items to mend.5Happy with purchase Didn t know they made such large needles.
