    My new full-time pickI play metal, and I heard Kerry King once say that he liked the triangle shape because he basically had a six-sided pick (he does all or mostly down picking). So, I tried out a few sizes of these, and the yellow triangles work best for me. The Tortex gives a great feel and durability to the pick. The ends stay sharp for quite a while. I use these on all my electric guitars now. Tortex, in general, is a great material. So try out a few shapes and thicknesses to find the one that suits your playing.5A nice option to get more out of your picksLove how these are basically 3 picks in one, as they have 3 sides. Wear down one point, then rotate 120 degrees, and you have a new pick! Choosing pick thickness is such a personal choice, so I would recommend you buy a bunch and see what you like the most!5Pick too big or hands too small.I have some Dunlop Gator Grips I love that are of the 1.14 thickness, but the powder that gives them their grip runs out way too fast.Then when your hand gets sweaty they slip and turn in my grip. So I though I'd try the three cornered dunlops so that if they slipped and turned I'd be that much closer to a point (Plus you have three times the wear, theoretically).The problem is that these are too big and unwieldy in my hand, making all the supposed benefits useless. The other thing is that they feel thicker than the 1.14s that I love. I don't know if that is from manufacturing or if it is the design, the bigger pick being more rigid. In theory I should like these, but perhaps my hands are too small.3Great pics.Good picks. I usually play metal on my bass and it grips the strings very well and they are strong. Recommend them to any bass player5Quality pick, and a good size.It s a Dunlop, so obviously quality is going to be standard. Measurements weren t included in the product description, but if you place a US quarter on top of it, it s a bit larger. The quarter covers the whole center of the pick, from edge to edge, with only the tips left showing. Great product, and it arrived on time.5I like these picks, but they do wear quicklyI like the larger size of these three-in-one picks, and their consistency. I use the thin ones, either 0.5 or 0.6 mm, depending on what I am playing. They wear quickly, but you can rotate them and use all three corners. The 0.5 mm are very flexible and give a soft sound, especially useful for aggressive strumming. Very expensive if purchased in small quantities (over $1/pick), more reasonable in quantity.4Great Pick for Bass PlayersI bought these picks based on the fact that Justin Chancellor of Took uses them. Great picks actually. Big size for bass use. If you're playing hard rock, metal, or similar genres, you'll appreciate this pick.5Excellent for Bajo Sexteros.Nice feeling between thumb and forefinger and no issues with sweat after playing for only a few minutes. I've been playing for over 10 years with a standard teardrop Fender thin pick which worked perfectly except for difficult high speed solos that must be down picked. It takes a few days to adapt for those new to large bass guitar picks. I would suggest practicing down picking one string at a time with a metronome to get the feel and forefinger to thumb positioning that suits your style. I didn't really like them so much on round wound strings but they work great on flat wound strings. I prefer the big stubby triangle pics for round wound strings. But then I'm kind of picky, .5Ahh the eternal search for tone..When I first started playing Guitar a Pic was a Pic. Then things change and you have to find what is the perfect Pic. Is this it? Time will tell but its worth a try. I'm not sure what the perfect Pic is for me so I can't tell you. Buy a few and give them a go.4
