    Jean & Denim Machine NeedlesI certainly liked the denim sewing machine needles. I have been sewing for years and never knew they existed. I would recommend these needles for any of your denim sewing. I made a patchwork quilt out of jeans and it turned out fabulous.5Great needles This brand is always good 5Great product with great priceBought these to bind a quilt with a very heavy textile because regular needles kept snapping off. These are tough little needles but still broke 2 and had to have neighbor finish project on her industrial machine (not because of poor product, rather too heavy of a project).5Worked perfectly. Worked perfectly to hem a pair of mens medium weight denim jeans. 5denim needle is working well with denim.Making a charming circles quilt in denim and cotton. Not sure what to say other than the needle works well even with four layers of denim where the circles join. Goes through denim like butter, have about half the quilt done and have not needed to change the needle. Sounds like excellent to me. I m able to get thru it all without breaking a needle.5Another go to needle for heavier machine sewing.UPDATE: I have found the 90/14 Sharp needles to be perfect due to the fact that it has a bigger thread hole so the sewing machine needle threader will tend to work easier due the hook on the machine threader device having a bigger area to fit through. Anyone who has had trouble with the machine threader working knows exactly what I am talking about. Once you get used to to your machine threader working most of the time, you'll find it hard to go back to a smaller sized needle with all the troubles of the threader working on a hit or miss situation. Yes it leaves a bigger hole than the 80/12 but only one size bigger and well worth it - IMHO.The 16/100 denim is perfect for thick denim or anything with seams that have numerous layers of fabric. It is a thick needle so be aware.5Good value, would buy again.Not the heaviest gauge needle on the market but will sew through two layers of denim. I broke one of the needles trying to sew through three layers a little too fast, but was able to sew three layers manually by turning the sewing machine by hand after replacing the needle.4Excellent QualityI always turn to this brand of sewing machine needles for their quality. Availability of size and variety very attractive for any seamstress / quilter.5
