Durability not what it used to beNot holding up... friends that have older ones have had them for years with great results. Ours after a year or so of not unreasonable use and the cloth is fuzzing up all over, the padding is coming out of the case, etc.Just not holding up well.It would also be nice if the side pocket was big enough for a standard music folder. There is room on the case, it appears.2Gator Bag does the job for meLove the over the shoulder strap. It's outside storage can hold a flute and a sax stand. Inside has two pockets, one for the neck the other I keep my reeds mouthpiece and neckstrap in. There isn't much room for anything else. If you consistenly double on woodwinds like flute and clarinet, you may want to consider another bag. It works fine for my needs, I rarely need to drag the flute along and I dropped the clarinet years ago. So it's pretty much just the sax and stand.5Good case to store my dads Selmer! My dad is playing with the big band in the sky now and had his Selmer in an original case that was pretty much shot so I looked at many cases to store his sax and bought this one. It isn't being transported anywhere so I can't vouch for its durability but the design, pockets, and interior padding are great. Recommend this case to protect any tenor sax.5Not impressed, disappointedIt is a well made and nice looking case. Just disappointed that of all the things about this case, the most important is what falls short, and that's how my Pearl PF-501 fits. The C-foot flops around in the space made for it and doesn't feel safe and snug at all, and the body fits very awkwardly. Even after I get it to "sort of" fit, it still doesn't really seem right. I really wanted to like this case, but I can't. I have little confidence in the safety of my flute in this case. It will do the job, but only just. And, like others, the advertised shoulder strap was NOT included, the least of which concerned me.3Nice side pocketsHolds the neck and up to 4 mouthpieces safely inside the case. Nice side pockets. Lightweight and easy to carry. I like the handle better than velcro because it does not get stuck nor get in the way when the case is open.5Great case for the price pointDaughter loves this bag. She said it holds everything nicely, looks good, and it fits easily down between the school bus seats. The only downside is that it will not hold a full size music book, but she had a case that did and it was much thicker and difficult to carry and store on the school bus.5Pretty good storage for a small hard-sided Alto Sax travel caseActually there isn't anything I *don't* like about this case. Bought for plane trip. Didn't check it with checked baggage - I probably would never do that, but, it fit in the overhead quite nicely. Because there are TWO outside pockets, you can store other stuff in them (up to about 1 - 2" thick). The inside storage pockets are small - one for the neck & the other for mouthpiece, flexible ligature, & reeds & cleaning wand. I'm actually really happy with this case. It fits my Bundy beater alto sax quite well. The strap for the case isn't really padded, so the case strap isn't the most comfortable if you're carrying on your shoulders, but what do you expect for $67! Overall very pleased with this case. FYI the case doesn't fit your music.5The quality of the materials of the case is great, the tenor sax fits perfectly and seems to ...My 10 year old son finds this case much easier to handle than the old, rectangle hard sided case he had. It has 3 handles to chose from. He likes that it looks "cooler" than the other cases. It's still heavy and awkward for a 10 year old, but it's a big instrument. The quality of the materials of the case is great, the tenor sax fits perfectly and seems to be well protected. His music books don't fit but that's not a big deal. I think it's worth the money.4Very durable and long lasting caseThis is the second Gator Case that I have purchased for my daughter. These are good quality cases that are very durable. The first case saw her through high school. The only reason we are purchasing another is because the other is pink and she wants one that has more of a professional look to it.4Great case for the working professionalThis is the second Gator I've bought for my Mark VI tenor (I also have my alto in one). The first one, which was the older model, withstood years of hard use but it was time to replace. These cases are very light, durable, well padded, and have nice big external pockets. I would not put my VI in anything I did not trust.5
