Very good value. Not the ultimate drum case though.Fits my 24"x18" kick well. No real spare room. The feet have to fold back and if you have a tom mount, it has to come off.It's cumbersome to get on/off the drum. Not sure that any soft case would be any better, but it was a bit of a surprise how much hassle it is. However, for the price, I'd rather deal with it than fork out 5x the money for a hard case.No complaints about the material, but the padding is not such that you can just toss this around haphazardly. It's designed to keep your drums from scratching each other up, keep your skins from getting punctured, safely stacking drums etc. It won't save it from a careless drop or throw off of a loading dock.4Fits DW/PDP with STM mounts beautifullyThere were a couple of reviews here saying the bags fit fusion sets tightly. They seem to fit my fusion kit with STM mounts with no issues. Nicely made bags with strong zippers. The 14x5.5 snare bag fits my Mapex 14x6.5 with no issues. Mapex has deep rims, so more like a 7. I like the fact that the bags fold down nicely, so they can be stashed when not in use. The whole set actually arrived in the 4" thick box, so they really collapse nicely. Very nice all around for the price.5Great Cases for medium duty protection.Heavy duty zipper. These fit really snug on my drums. So make sure to take into consideration of tom mounting hardware, and floor tom legs.EX: My floor tom is a 16x14... I ordered a 16x14 case. The legs have to be fully removed for the case to zip.EX: Kick drum bags have enough room for the receiving mount. But, any T-bar tom mounts will have to be removed to fit in the case.They all have one large carrying strap permanently attached. I do wish they also had a smaller hand size grabbed handle attached, but none of the ones I ordered had a small handle. They have about a 1/2 inch of padding all around. Works great for me on helping prevent scratches, and light bumps and bruises while getting loaded an unloaded with a full band worth's of equipment. And depending on the sizes you need.... mine all fit inside each other when empty and I can stick all case including my cymbal bag, and soft hardware bag all in my kick drum case. Which makes for an easy trip back to the van to save room.5Not as sturdy as we had hopedThese cases seemed like very good cases when they arrived. The drummer in our family has used them to carry her drums to 2 shows. On the 2nd show the bass drum case ripped at the seam, and the accessory bag zipper broke. It's such a shame, we really were excited and they seemed to be such nice cases. For the money we just expected them to be really good, and last at least a year. We are returning them.Updating my review, Amazon has replaced these cases, I am changing my stars to 3 stars just because of Amazon's service. The drummer hasn't used these new cases yet, so time will tell on this. I just want to say Amazon really does stand behind the customer.3Durable and protective.Robust zipper and construction. Almost completely happy. Deserves 5 stars but I wish these were sized maybe 1/4 -1/2" extra in diameter so drums can be inserted very easily. It takes several seconds to coach drums into the bag because with only two hands (I am not going to ask anyone to hold bags open for me, the drums slip to an angle and need to be "juggled" to slip further in.) The eventual fit is very good and does not seem too tight..5Nice home for an odd-sized drumI got this gig bag for a 12-inch (height) by 17-inch (diameter) snare drum, probably dating back to the 1920's. To the best of my knowledge, no bags are presently cataloged in that size. The actual inside diameter of the bag is 20 inches. So, I made a 1/4-inch thick by 20-inch diameter wooden circle to act as a divider within the bag to separate the drum from the only SD stand I have that can accommodate a 17-inch drum. Now I use the extra height of the bag for both the drum and its dedicated stand. This arrangement is much better than the oversize hard case I was using previously. I'm happy!5Great value for transporting your drumsI love my gator bags. Good value and look professional. I recommend getting a size bigger so they are easier to work with. I use a 13in bag for my 12in Tom and it has held up well. On the bags that fit tightly eventually the rims of the drums will damage the internal lining of the bag but that s after hundreds of gigs and sitting in hot cars/trailers year after year. Zippers are great all still work after several years of use.5Fit my slightly irregular kit!Great Bags for the price. Wanted to leave this feedback because people were asking if the bags could accommodate their various odd sized kits, and everyone else continually responded with the stock bag sizes listed on the product description. It was driving me nuts! Also, if you bought these for your child, or grandchild, or friend, and you don't know the answer, don't respond with "I don't know"!. DON'T RESPOND AT ALL UNLESS YOU HAVE USEFUL INFORMATION!!!. So here is my kit sizes, they all fit wonderfully into the bags, no issues:Bass - 23" Dia x 18.5" DeepFloor Tom 16.5" Dia x 17" DeepRack Tom #1 14" Dia x 12" DeepRack Tom #2 13" Dia x 11" DeepSnare 14.5" Dia x 6.5" DeepEverything fits easily, If a drum you have is really close to these sizes, within about an inch, it shouldn't have a hard time fitting. They are not for heavy use like the SKB but the bass drum bag can be slung over my shoulder, unlike the SKB case. This is actually more convenient when you need to squeeze in and out of small spaces when doing local gigs. The sizes work well. I put my 12 in the 13 bag because of the tom mount. Bass drum fits well and I use an 18 depth BD. I ll update with any issues I may have in the future.5
