Great Cables!I picked up a couple of new EV Powered speakers and needed some long XLR cables to run these in just about any situation. I've owned GLS cables in the past and still have many that I use today. Guitar Center carries the same line and, being a loyal customer, they will trade these out for brand new ones if anything happens (short, break, etc.). I've brought back a few in the past, though I use them heavily and they take a beating. The trick to keeping cords that last forever? Don't buy cheap and roll/store them properly! This is especially true of longer cords! They have a "memory" of how they like to be rolled up and if you stick with this every time you put them away, they'll last a long time. Actual cables and XLR connectors on these are well built and I've had no issues hooking these up to my $2400 speakers. (I've used a cheap cable and the male side would barely come out due to a faulty clip).Pick these up, for the $ you can't go wrong and if they do go bad for some reason, just return to GC if you are a regular customer there.5Great price, service, and qualityI previously purchased 2 50 XLR cables from GLS and was satisfied. So now that I needed extra I came back for 2 more. I am no expert on XLR cables but I have been using GLS for over a year and have had zero issues. I also received a letter from the company both times which I thought was a nice classic touch in customer service. I will definitely buy GLS in the future as the price is great as well as the quality and service.5Great XLR cablesI use these in a live band setting no matter how careful you are at times they get stepped on, speaker cabinets, monitors, amplifiers get put on them and they hold up well. I have been using GLS for years and I can t find one negative to say about their products amazing value and free shipping with prime, buy them 5I know I sound like a commercial but there's a reason...This is not my first purchase of GLS Audio XLR Mic Patch Cords and it certainly won't be the last either! These cables are manufactured with the highest quality of materials and craftsmanship. I personally use these cables when the occasion arises that there can be no compromise in the performance of the show. My last purchase of these cable was approximately 5-6 years ago. All of the cables work flawlessly. I highly recommend these cables for any application that demands the best!5You cannot find a better deal than theseThe price vs performance of these cables is hard to beat. At the local music shop, it costs $35.00 for ONE (1) 25 ft XLR cord. For the price of one 25 ft cord you get TWO (2) 50 ft cords. You do the math. I use self-powered speakers, and with these cables, I can be creative about where to place the speakers and still have some slack left over. They are well constructed, and built to last even on the road. As they say "shut up and take my money". You cannot find a better deal than these. And with Amazon's quick shipping, you can have 'em before your next gig so go for it - you will be very satisfied with the quality, usefulness, and affordability of these XLR cords.5One if the cables was defective because of a poor solder jointItem was shipped fast and delivered fast. One if the cables was defective because of a poor solder joint. I was going to return it but decided to fix it myself and keep it. Pretty much all the joints needed to be redone as there was NO pre-tinning the connectors or wire before hand. I went over both cables and found the same poor quality work hastily done with solder drops inside the connector. I give it a 3 star rating because its price was good if you know how to solder. I suggest quality control and testing before packing and shipping. Hopefully that was just an isolated incident.3These do not tangle up and have very good sound qualityPrice paid: $29.99 including shipping, at the end of December, 2010.I bought these 50ft (2 pack) cables to build several microphone and instrument cables of shorter lengths. It caught my attention that the wires in these cables are thicker (at 21 AWG) than the typical microphone cables, which are normally 24 AWG.These cables do not tangle up as has happened with other equivalent cables that I have used. That is a major plus with these cables. The plugs that come with it, are of top quality. I have not had much experience with high quality cables, but I have discerning (clinical) ears, and these cables provide a clean sound with no noticeable flaws in sound quality.A nice addition to both of the 50ft cables, was two white Velcro cable ties (a total of four ties, two per cable) that have proven to be useful to keep wrapped cables from getting mixed up with one another when stacked together.5Not getting a better deal. For as long as I have had these cables I can honestly say a sound tech that these cables a worth the price they are. I will be buying some more. I put them under constant use almost every weekend and the have stood the test of time. I am also big on NOT using my forearm and elbow to wrap my cables so I think that also plays a part in that. but not to take away from these cables at all.5Sometimes you need 50ft - you need these!GLS makes quality cables and some stages that we play on(live rock band) are large enough that farthest singer from the board has to consider putting two cables together. I bought these and keep them in the gig bag for those occasions where you don't want a signal loss by junction connection. This gives us unfettered signal strength in a single cable. Very quality adapters on both ends and quality cabling made these a no brainer.5These cables have endured the test of timeGreat cables. One of the companies I work for uses these and have been using the same ones for years without problems and they get used mainly for events so are constantly stepped on/rolled over/etc(taped down with gaffers tape of course). They go through a lot but have been proven in the field. I was looking to pick up my own cables, asked boss man what kind of cables they were and looked no further.5
