    So many uses I ordered this to be used for stencils in my silhouette. I failed, but I was a very newbie. I started using it as acetate on my cards, as "windows" in my 3D art, and then went back to the silhouette, I finally figured it out. It is very much an individual machine setting thing, as is the Cricut I use too. I can Die cut it, dry emboss it, heat emboss it, use gel medium on it, all kinds of things. I love making tags out of this, very cool! And I know I'm forgetting probably 10 other ways I use it. It's always out. And all of these are fantastic, but my favorite way of using it is as a canvas to use with Pebeo fantasy paints. I love the colors and transparency, plus I can cut them out for embellishments or use them as background behind diecuts for a fantastic effect! I am on my second order, soon to be my third. 5This worked absolutely perfect for the reusable stencils I needed to make This worked absolutely perfect for the reusable stencils I needed to make!I cut it with my cricut explore air 2Purple matCustom- stencil film-0.4mmPressure-more 5Perfect thuckness for my needs This is nice and thick at 0.05mm.. A bit too thick for stencil cutting for me. For stencils I use 0.005mm thickness. Having said that, I didn't purchase this for stencils. I used them to line the bottom of a wire display shelft, to prevent my items from falling through the spaces between the wires. It was important to me that the sheets be sturdy and clear. They met my expectations in that regard. I need to cut the shhets to proper size. This is where I discovered that the plastic is rather brittle, possible due to the thickness. I cracked a coupleof corners whist cutting with scissors. I had read in a previous review that the sheets were not clear as advertised but a cloudy white. Well...that's what they look like BEFORE you remove the protective cover on each size. Once removed they are very clear. 5Perfect Product for stencil making: Silhouette Machine Excellent product, just what I was looking for. I am using this in my Silhouette machine to make custom stencils. Photograph shown is actual wood sign made with custom stencil created with purchased Grafix Clear Plastic .007 Thickness.Settings that seem to work best for me are as follows:Blade Settings for .007 Clear Grafix PlasticSpeed - 3Thickness - 33Blade - 5Double Cut 5Highly recommended for use in the Cricut Explore and reusable for painting. I purchased this product to use with the Cricut Explore One.As mentioned in some other reviews, the product comes shipped flat within cardboard. Each sheet is separate with tissue paper. Not much else to say there other than I was happy with how it shipped.I had zero issues getting it to cut with the Cricut Explore One. I used the Stencil setting and even with the regular blade, it cut right through easily. I actually had more trouble using the deep cut blade...it didn't seem as precise.My first product was a leaf pattern to put on my wall. I was able to easily affix the stencil to the wall with Krylon 10.25-Ounce Easy Tack Repositionable Adhesive Spray and I used a stencil brush and acrylic paint. I was most happy with the fact that I was able to reuse the stencil multiple times. I've seen other people say they were able to wash it off, but I decided to throw it away about about 5 uses. This was cheap enough that I didn't feel the need to waste the water and time.Also to note - I tried buying stencils from Hobby Lobby. Those were way to thick and the Cricut had trouble cutting them. Therefore, I recommend going with these thinner stencils.I included two pictures - one showing the packaging and the other illustrating a stencil I cut so you can get a sense of the product in action.TLDR - highly recommended for use in the Cricut Explore and reusable for painting. 5Perfect for storing cling stamps! I'm in the process of unmounting a bunch of stamps on wood blocks to save tons of room. This product works great and is the same thickness as the plastic on the stamp sets I've already purchased that are either cling foam or clear stamps (Penny Black or Hero Arts, for example).I'm using Grafix 9-Inch-by-12-Inch Cling Film Clear on my old stamps and it sticks perfectly to this plastic (I nuke them briefly in the microwave to separate the backing from the wood). For those stamps that have the sticky foam already attached, I put them on the cling film and they stick perfectly to this plastic. On old stamps where the rubber separates from the cushion, I use Aleene's Tack-It Over & Over on them and then put them on the cling vinyl and then on the plastic. I just received my Amazon order yesterday and have made good progress towards my goal of freeing up room for my ever increasing purchases of stamps.To easily keep track of what I have, I stamp an index sheet of the images and store them in Avery Elle Stamp and Die Storage Pockets, also available on Amazon. 5Great! Just what I hoped for. I used these to make a large binder for my clear stamps. The plastic image of the stamp....taped to the front and the clear stamp stuck to the back. Works perfectly! Just enough give that it doesn't crack yet not wobbly if I want to take out that particular sleeve. It is the perfect material for cling stamps to adhere to. I have also used it as palet for watercolouring/artist pens with a piece of white paper under it. Great price and of course...with Amazon....it is always perfectly on time unless mother nature interferes. Definitely will (and already have) purchase again as my collection grows. 5Perfectly created Templates/Stencils w/Cricut These clear plastic craft sheets worked perfectly with my Cricut Explore Air to create scrapbook picture templates for layouts. They cut so well with my Cricut, I may create some painting stencils as well. I love that they are clear, because you can easily see below the template. Also, they are the right thickness, not too flimsy, yet not too thick.I originally purchased them to create wall stencils for painting. I think I would want sheets that are a little thicker for that purpose. But for paper crafting they are perfect. They can even be used to create Shaker cards without adding too much bulk.Altogether, I am happy with my purchase 5Cricut settings for 0.020" (20 mil) sheets After going through other materials with a 0.007 and 0.014 thickness, I was super happy to find this one since I was looking for a thicker material. It has a very nice thickness, and my Cricut Explore had no problems cutting through it. These are the settings I used (which can be saved under "Manage Custom Materials" on your account):- Cut Pressure: 325- Multi-cut: 3x- Blade Type: Deep-Point BladeIt cuts through in most areas, although you may need to break it a little at other areas to get the whole thing off. No worries however--the plastic is thick enough and the cut is deep enough that it's pretty much like peeling a sticker off a sticker sheet. Alternatively, you could also increase the cut pressure just a tiny bit, but I left it at 325 because there's no damage to the mat or plastic at all on this setting. (I also used the green standard-grip mat, which worked perfectly fine.) 5Cricut - Find the right setting I bought this for making stencils with my Cricut. Here are the settings I tried:Bad - Stencil - 0.4mm, regular blade, 1 cut. No pieces were completely cutBetter Bad - Stencil - 0.4mm, deep cut blade, 1 cut. better but still no good. this may have worked with multiple cuts.Last and Best - Transparency, deep cut blade, 2 cuts. I meant to do 3 cuts, but I accidentally hit the unload button.On the last one, some pieces came off without any work. I had to use an exacto knife to get the rest off. It was pretty easy.I suggest that you take 1 sheet and practice different settings to see what will work for you. 5
