Most people love Grease but this is one of my FAVORITE moviesMost people love Grease but this is one of my FAVORITE movies. I first saw it as a child and the music stayed with me my whole life; some people may see it as a bit cheesy but I can see every scene with every song!!5It's so bad, it's good. Have to be in the right mindset, but can be very enjoyable.Saw Grease 2 before I saw the original Grease and thought it was the better movie for a time (I've since changed my mind). But Grease 2 has some "classics" like "Going to Score Tonight", "Who's that Guy", "Cool Rider" (especially *great* when Michelle Pfieffer starts spelling the word rider), "Reproduction"...just...takes it to a whole new level of...the 80s...5Obsessed!I am among the 5 of us in the world who love this movie! The soundtrack is awesome! Some songs are not exactly as you hear in the movie, so just know that! Love this movie and love the songs! Great purchase!5Great!!I LOVE this! It wasn't the best soundtrack in the world but it is so fun!!5Grease 2 SoundtrackIf you know what these phrases mean ("Cool rider," Let's do it for our country," and, "Walk, talk like a T-bird"), and they cause you to smile even just a little, get this soundtrack and enjoy!5Back to school again!Grease is a classic. It's a great musical. Grease 2 was a failure but does that make it a bad follow up? NOOOO! In all honesty, I prefer Grease 2 overall. I like the message that a woman (Stephanie played by Michelle Pfeiffer) doesn't have to compromise who she is to get what she wants, not does she have to be a man's trophy. The soundtrack, it can be a little silly at times but the songs are so catchy.Don't miss out just because of what you were told. It's so much better than you've heard. Grease 2 is the word.5Fun to Listen to!I absolutely loved the movie "Grease 2" so when I heard the CD was available, I went ahead and bought it. All of the songs from the movie are of course there, sung by the stars. Before seeing the movie or listening to the CD, I didn't know that Michelle Pheiffer could sing! I'm glad I was wrong though. If you have the movie, or have seen it, then get this CD. You'll feel as though you're watching the movie all over again. Plus, it is just fun to listen to and sing along to!4a guilty pleasureGREASE 2 crashed and burned at the box-office, but has built up quite a cult following over the years. The story followed Sandy's intellectual cousin Michael (Maxwell Caulfield), as he attended Rydell High and fell helplessly in love with 'Pink Lady' Stephanie (Michelle Pfeiffer).Essentially it was the same story as the original "Grease" but the roles were reversed - geeky Michael had to dumb himself down in order to win the affections of Stephanie. The soundtrack of the film is a load of fun. Both Maxwell Caulfield and Michelle Pfeiffer's singing is quite excellent; and the rest of the cast are clearly having a ball, too.Lorna Luft is totally adorable with "Reproduction" and "Score Tonight"; not to mention the oh-so-cute "Girl for All Seasons" (the cheesy number that the Pink Ladies perform for the talent show). Michelle Pfeiffer sets the pulses racing with "Cool Rider", and later pulls at the heart-strings with "(Love Will) Turn Back the Hands of Time". Maxwell Caulfield is at his best with "Charades".The soundtrack album faithfully recreates the numbers just like they are heard in the film - with one exception. Maureen Teefy was unable to make it to the recording session for "Do It for Our Country". Peter Frechette does his best, but the number was written as a duet and Teefy's performance in the film was priceless. I wonder why the duet could not have been lifted directly from the optical film soundtrack. Oh well. For fans of GREASE 2, this soundtrack album is a smart buy...and at a sweet price, too.[Polydor/Universal 42282 5096-2]3Grease (2) is the wordGrease 2 is one of my wife's childhood movies, so I surprised her with this CD for Christmas. Since I got it she's been singing the songs and talking about the movie a lot. Don't get me wrong, if you're NOT a Grease 2 fan, this could be excruciating. But for those that grew up with and love the movie, this is a no-brainer. My wife's one small complaint was that the songs weren't in the same order as they were in the movie.5Give it a chanceI personally like both first and second film. Cool Rider is the best song5
