Customer Reviews

and I'm already glad I made the purchaseI only got this stand delivered today, and I'm already glad I made the purchase. This stand is extremely sturdy and made to last. I needed some way I could store my 4 (soon to be 5) guitars in a small area, and this is it. It does have a big footprint if the legs are fully spread out, but the beauty of this stand is that you can adjust the legs and bring them in. (Check the yellow ring in my picturs) Another thing I like is how you hang the guitars. The part that holds the guitar is on a spring loaded slider, and there are to gates that swing up to keep your instrument from being knocked out. When your guitar is not in the holder, the holder slides up and the gates swing down, when you out your guitar in the girp, the weight pulls the slider down and the gates swing up to secure you instrument. I totally trust this stand to hold my guitars. I tried to push it over, of course it can be done, but it's gonna take some doin to tip it.5Outstanding Guitar StandI have 10 guitars and needed a stand for six of them. I purchased this one after reading reviews and researching the various units offered. I am glad I went with the Hercules Stand. It is extremely well built and very sturdy. I have a couple of heavy guitars ( a Les Paul and a Reverend Gil Parris), but it handles the weight with no problems and it came already put together! Well worth the money for the piece of mind and it doesn't take up much space either!5Best multi guitar stand on the market for playing live showsI ve gone through so many different multi guitar stands it s insane. Made the move to this one, and will say this is the best built, holds six guitars and a solid as hell. Only drawback would be that the second level hangers is held only by a screw... I wish that one had a cotter pin to give me just a little more security with it. But I put the heavier guitars on top, lighter guitars on the second mid-level. This will be the best stand you will buy, also takes up very little room on a tight stage5Been using for over a year now and love it! It's light and seems like it wouldn't ...Been using for over a year now and love it! It's light and seems like it wouldn't hold that many guitars, but it's had no trouble even with heavier bass guitars. The lock in place feature at the headstock is nice, and have had no issues with those opening as I lift the guitars off. It helped us go from random stands with guitars everywhere and trying to find room, to having 6 all in about a 3 foot diameter in the corner of the room. Highly recommend for anyone. The guitars against the walls are harder to get to, but you can position it so that you can quickly/easily get to 4 guitars and the other 2 you just have to take off more carefully. When we first set it up, we wondered if the bass guitars with the longer necks would cause an issue. They "fit" better with our configuration by being on the top row, but would fit on the bottom as well.5Best I've seen for sturdiness, smart design, and great capacityReally good design, great build quality, and outstanding capacity in such a small footprint!I just love the auto-lock system on the hangers - easiest system to use of any I've seen or had experience with. With the construction sturdiness, and safe-keeping design features, I have full confidence in placing any of my guitars on it where it stands next to my amps and pedals, giving me instant access to six of my guitars any time I'm playing (including over a course of days/weeks)!5Functional and great presentationI LOVE this stand. I've got all 6 of my guitars on this Hercules stand. It's solid and I trust it. Additionally, I have a wide variety of guitars hanging on this: Electric Stratocaster Texas Special, custom made nylon classical, Steel string Taylor, Baby Martin, ukulele, and a travel guitar. It works great for all of them. The classical is a bit tight with the wider neck, but it still works. This product is great for saving floor space, too. And it just looks damn cool. Great presentation, but most of all it's functional. Meaning it's super easy to grab a guitar off of it. One hand. Just lift it up and the arms that were locking it in place swing down and open up the holder so you can lift the guitar right out with one hand. Brilliant. And it really encourages me to play all the time now because the guitars look so tasty hanging there. I also find that I'm playing the variety of guitars more than I ever have because they are all so easily accessed and they all look so tasty. I would have given this five stars, but one of the locking arms was not aligned properly so when the guitar is being held on one of them, one locking arm does not lock all the way. I contacted the seller about replacing the part, but I would have had to ship the whole thing back and they could not guarantee me that I would get another one right away. What a pain. So I just kep this one with the faulty locking arm. Kind of a bummer, but I still love it.4I wasn't totally sure if I was going to like this, but with guitars everywhere I needed to ...I wasn't totally sure if I was going to like this, but with guitars everywhere I needed to try *something*. This fit the bill well - I tucked it in a corner with 2 acoustics and a dobro on the bottom, and an electric, bass and Banjo on the top. Very sturdy, and holds the guitars well. As others note, getting to the guitars in the back can be a little tricky if it's in a corner, but well worth it for how much space it saves.5SturdyThis easily supports everything from big acoustic bass guitars to mandolins. Great way to keep the collection organised.5As Advertised/Good QualityThis guitar stand was perfect for my husband. This guy has more guitars then....you name it!! There is virtually no assembly required, and I'm quite sure he's the ONLY person who, upon putting his guitars on the stand, looks like they have have more guitars then he needs! (Is there such thing as too many guitars??)5It's all in the designThis is a great stand for those who need to grab all of the instruments at their disposal.I am able to load this thing up with a Gibson Les Paul Standard, a Bishline Walnut Banjo, 2 acoustics, a Music Man Sting Ray, and a Music Man Sterling bass. The first things I thought of when this stand caught my attention were will it hold the instruments securely, will it hold the weight of my instruments, how much area does it cover and will it fall over.I have just shy of $10K worth of instruments hanging on this thing so it's important that I can trust this stand to hold the instruments securely. It definitely holds the instruments securely. It uses a system by which the weight of the instrument engages the grabbing auto-grip and lifting the instrument up disengages the auto-grip. It's really pretty ingenious in its simplicity. Also, this tree has no problem holding the weight of my instruments. Even with an uneven weight distribution, the stability of the stand is unquestionable. I have a Bishline walnut banjo (heavy!) and a Gibson Les Paul (heavy) along with an acoutic (light) on the second level and it holds them no problem. On the bottom level, I have a StingRay bass (heavy!), a Sterling bass (medium) and another acoustic (light). I'm not sure of the total weight but I would guess somewhere close to 60lbs. worth of instruments. The stand will take up approximately 4.5 square feet of floor space. It's approximately 3 feet from the tip of one foot to the next foot(3ftx3ft from leg to leg/2 for the triangle configuration of the feet=4.5sq ft).I've pushed on the trunk (side to side and down) with a single guitar on it and with it loaded up to see if there is any chance it will fall and short of someone literally running into the stand, it won't be knocked over. The way I have the stand set, the top is right around the 6-foot mark. This is customizable. The thing that's also great about this stand is the vertical configuration. It can save you some space over the conventional rectangular floor multi-stand. Another plus is the heights of the grips and supports are totally customizable, so if you're using basses, guitars, and banjos it will accommodate them all. The two levels of grips and rests can be adjusted independently.Plus if you know music stands, the Hercules brand is about as good as they get. And the price on these things is less than most 3-guitar floor-type stands. Amazing.5
