One out of 2 worked. One of my cables worked, the other didn't.It was scratchy and unreliable. So I opened it up to see what was wrong. I am grateful they use two simple screws to fasten their cable heads. So they use this little brown paper to shield the positive connection from the ground. One end didn't include it's magic brown paper. I had to find thing else to use and hopefully it'll work now.
2These are a little expensive, but I think worth the priceI'm a big fan of Hosa cables, I have many in my collection because they work well, are serviceable, and importantly, are affordable. I have a growing collection of pedals and space is becoming a problem, so I finally bit the bullet and bought these because they looked like they would save some room. Even though I think they're a little expensive, all in all, I'm glad I bought them. The "curl" up very tight, you can literally have the pedals next to each other, touching. That's not easy to do with a big thick cable and standard jacks. I haven't had any trouble with these, they fit tight, and no noise that I'm aware of, which is the same for all of my Hosa cables. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because of the price. They ought to make these available in a 3 pack (6 inch) for people who don't need 6 of them.
4Definitely Worth the InvestmentI absolutely love these patch cables. The pancake design provides an excellent low-profile look and keeps your pedals nice and close without slipping out of the jack. This particular item came with 6 cables in total (for those whom may be concerned with what the exact number of cables are) perfect amount for the amount of pedals I plan on having for my future pedal board. If you're looking for nice low-profile patch cables then these are the babies to go for! They work well with Boss, Electro-Harmonix and Earthquaker Devices (however I've noticed that my only gripe is that certain Earthquaker Devices have the power jack right next to the input jack which can prove a little tricky but I manage to make it work out).Overall very happy with these cables and I'm sure they'll serve me well.
5Pleased with these cables on my newly built Nano+ boardMy purchase of the 6-pack arrived today and are already in use on my new board. The length is shorter than other brands in that the advertised length includes connectors. However, the length is perfect for my needs. No issues connecting any of my pedals and no issues with unwanted noice in my signal chain.
5Super cheap and these have been working great for meSuper cheap and these have been working great for me. The build quality is inconsistent across them (the plugs on some are fine, but others look questionably attached, though none of them have any sound differences that I can tell), but I haven't had any sound issues so far. I really like that the low-profile plugs allows me to place my pedals closer to one another.
4Durable Cables, Able to fit more pedalsPeople say their is a lot to be said for great connectors. I don't know. I use these and were work just fine. The price is great. I am able to get all my pedals on one board with these. I personally think they are great. I mean the cable length is so small it does not have that much of an effect on the signal. I would recommend these.
5Love them, but make a note about the length.I've been using these cables for about 4 months now and they have not let me down. They are low profile, plug in fine, and produce no static whatsoever. Something to note is that the cable itself is not 6" long. From plug to plug, it's about 6" long. For me, this isn't an issue since i want everything as close together and tight as possible, but if you're expecting a 6" long cable as well as added length the inputs themselves I could see why you might be disappointed. Will be buying more of these when i need to stock up again!
5Good so far, buying more as I expand my boardDeliverd as described, seems to work as promised. Only concern is the cabling is a bit flimsey, so I'm woried it will kink and degrade whete I have any bends. One thing to note, the comoromise for the flat connextor housing is an extra wide housing that can interfere with the power connector if they are too close. Slight issue with my Petersen tuner and Fulltone Choral Flange. The Boss pedals and other where the TRS is one the side and power one the rear were no problem
4Excellent productThis is a great product, especially for crowded pedalboards.People who say these don't plug completely into MXR or Electro Harmonix pedals are wrong. They fit just fine. The same goes for the supposed issue with the "pancakes" inhibiting plugging in a power supply. It's not an issue. See the attached picture.
5Good patch cables, but can lead to some space issuesI love these patch cables. They work find in all kinds of pedals - I've never run into any issues as described by one reviewer with them not working with some brands. However, I have a couple of pedals where the input and output jacks (or power jack) are located close together at the top of the pedal, and the flat "pancake" head of the cable can be too wide to use on a couple of pedals I own - or too wide to use this kind of cable on both jacks. The ones that come to mind are a Danelectro mini graphic EQ and the other is an Aphex Guitar Xciter, which has input, output, power and a few other functions crammed onto the top of the pedal.Other than that these are the best option I've found for getting pedals with side mounted input and output jacks close together on a pedalboard.
