    Magnificent renditions of these soundtracks..John Williams is perfect. His music is always spellbinding and every soundtrack is different and really suits the film. I have all of his music ....even those from' way back' when. (He did the theme music to Checkmate, a show from the early l960's.) Even then, he was at the top of his game. One of my all time favorite pieces from this CD is Flight to Neverland from Hook. I truly think a skater could win the Olympics skating to this music.5Not worth it.Too many little known and uninspired pieces selected for this CD. Many other, more popular and creative compositions overlooked. Not worth the money at all.2Great overview of the work of a master!I was fortunate enough to see John Williams at the Hollywood Bowl this summer, so I was inspired to buy this CD (actually my ladyfriend lost this CD in a move years ago). While the 2 CD set is only current through 1999, it's a wonderful overview of the prolific, beautiful output of this composer. It includes some of his very early work, along with the obvious scores (Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, Schindler's List). Plus it throws in a few less well known Williams compositions, including a track from 1941, Spielberg's interesting attempt to make a WWII comedy. Overall, great item if you can get a hold of it!4GreatMy grandson listens to it as I drive him home from school every day.5Love me some John WilliamsListening to it right now and cannot begin to say how good of a selection these songs are. Especially enjoy some of the soloists such as Perlman, Parkening, Morrison, etc.5Best Collection !I would say that this CD Album is the best collection of John Williams Soundtracks for a span of 30 years.5John Williams shinesI have heard all of these before, but that's what I want. These are the best selections of JW's scores. Happy I can finally listen to the theme for The Sugarland Express.5
