    but like other reviewers have mentionedThis does the job, but like other reviewers have mentioned, it can be very difficult to unplug from the Vita. There have been a couple of times I was worried it was stuck, but I just had to get a better grip closer to the connection point. It may be worth the money to buy the Sony USB cable and pay the shipping for peace of mind, not worrying about if the cable is going to be stuck in the Vita forever or if you might damage the Vita trying to get the cable out. Not a bad buy, just a risky one.3Not recommendedIt requires an excessive amount of force to connect or disconnect this charger from the Vita. My Vita's touchscreen functions were also inexplicably disabled while it was connected. Between these two factors, I was concerned that this adapter might actually damage the Vita, so I decided to use an official one instead.1Charges well, but size seems to be a little odd.I misplaced my charger and bought this to replace it. Seems to work fine, charged my Vita pretty quickly. Only thing is, the connector to the vita itself seems really big?? I can plug it in okay but when I go to take the vita off the charger I feel like I have to yank VERY hard to get the connector out of the port on the console. I'm concerned I might damage the pins inside the vita...Will report back in the future if this becomes a problem, but seems to be working well so far.4Good product, works fine.Product works great. I've charged my PS VITA at least 6 times now without any problems. Prior to purchasing, I read others had problems with the cable being too tight and hard to connect to the Vita. Not here, the cable fit perfectly.5Inexpensive Option to the Sony Branded VersionWorks just as it should, it's an inexpensive option to the Sony branded items. The one quip I have is that the charger is slightly difficult to fit into the vita charging port. You have to force it all the way in there, which might make one feel uncomfortable(it's a really tight fit). You can switch the wire with a Sony official wire if you are uncomfortable and it still works fine with this adapter. The adapter itself is really light, almost feels like there's nothing in it. My Sony wire started to come apart exposing wires , which is why I purchased this. Otherwise it works and is great value for the price. I'm definitely pleased.4Just what I needed!My PS Vita charger died on me and so did another off brand one I purchased, and so I gave this one a shot. Its built very sturdy, feels just like the original one that came with my PS Vita and its been chugging along like a rockstar. I would definitely recommend it!5CheapJunk, don't buy. Bought this one over the Other option for $5.99, this one was more money. The cable is going bad after two months of light use. Its cheap chinese crap. The brick doesn't put out a whole lot either, it says it 5v but doesn't. Its about as much ma as a normal phone charger if that.Edit: Solder point came undone on the plug. Resoldered and good to go.2You get what you pay for.I have bought many of these for 2 reasons: 1. Its cheap 2. It brakes easilyI gave it 3 stars because there is a possibility that my son may be mishandling these for them to break but nonetheless, they all still broke fairly easy.3It charges!A really great replacement for the charger that mysteriously decided to end itself via drowning.VERY useful that it has a separate USB cable and AC cord. You could plug in your vita to your PC this way or use a longer power cord!Works just fine and doesn't even get warm while charging.5Exceeded my ExpectationsI have a PS Vita that I had for some years and wasn't using for some time. Over the years I misplaced the original charger and needed to find a reliable one that would get the job done. That's when I ran across this one and decided to give it a try. Boy oh boy must I say this charger over exceeded my expectations. This charger performs and charge my PS Vita as expected and really fast too. I am very happy with my purchase and I know you will too.5
