One of those cool time saving doodadsYou could probably live without it, but WHY? What a time saver! Be careful, though. The super duper sharpness is reason to remove a star. They are dangerously sharp! If you have tots running around, make sure you keep them out of reach. I was able to lay out a lace project is about a 10th the time. Being able to place 4 or 8 pins at once is a great thing! I do believe I'll be getting another box of them . They come in a nice plastic box with foam in the bottom so you can stick the blockers in it for safe keeping.4Good but too expensiveI got these blockers about a month ago and I ve used them on three or four projects now. They work pretty well but I could really use another two sets. There just aren t enough in one box and I think they re crazy expensive for what they are. I would like to have gotten 3 times as many for the price.4Love the simplicity of these pinsTheses are the best invention for blocking knits. So much more efficient than the individual U-pins. They contain two sizes in the box...a 4 inch and a 2 inch pin. There are a generous amount in each box, so one box can handle an Afghan or a sweater, etc. Lace may still require the U-pins, but most knitted fabric will do great with these.5Little hooks on some of the pins. Still a good productI have used these once so far and they really do make blocking so much easier. The only reason I can not give five stars is because several pins had little hook bits that caught on my work. I will need to sand those down before I use them again. Other than that, they are great.4Where have these been all my life?These are fabulous. For most items you will need two, perhaps even three boxes but they are worth it, even if you have to buy one box at a time or save up for them. They're a real time saver and work very well. I use them with puzzle block mats. I used to use wires and t-pins but now use these for almost everything. My wires are relegated to a spot under the couch for those few times I need them. For shawl points I still use t-pins but I have seen these used horizontally for that also. I see that some people are saying that they catch the fine yarns. I hold right next to the blocker as I remove them straight up and I haven't had that problem. I use light weight yarns all the time. They stick so deeply that I could see how this could happen, just be careful when you pull them out. They are almost impossible to get back into the box. I ended up getting a Rubbermaid container to keep them in5PerfectWhen I saw these advertised I immediately bought them. These pin combs (I don't know how else to describe them ) are perfect. As you can see in the photo I use them with blocking wires and T pins. They certainly make blocking quicker and, unbelievably, enjoyable!5Well worth the money!Wow! These blocking pins are amazing! I just unpinned a scarf I blocked for a friend. The knitting originally looked uneven and a little wonky. After blocking it, with the Knitter's Pride Knit Blockers, it is perfectly even. I wished there were more in the set, because I had to use some T-pins, too. They didn't hold the scarf as evenly. I also used the Knit IQ Blovking mats which were awesome because of the grid lines and the extra thickness of the mats. The Knit Blockers are well worth the money. I'm about to buy my second set.5Great for large and small projectsWhen I block my crocheting and knitting, using Knitter's Pride Knit Blockers make the job so much easier than using individual pins. I can keep my straight lines straight with 1 block. Very sturdy and sharp. Love that they come in a box so I can protect the pins.5Great invention (except for one snag)I would have given it 5 stars except for the tiny snag on the very first blocker I used. I was blocking a sweater and when I removed the blocker, it brought a few plies of yarn with it and created a snag. Quite disappointing, really. I hope the manufacturing process can be adjusted or quality control enhanced to prevent burrs from being produced. So far, I've only found a burr on one needle on one blocker - so it's not really the end of the world. Otherwise, these are great.4Every knitter should have theseI've used these may times now, and they are definitely a time-saver. You'll still need blocking pins, but these are wonderful for the sides of cardigans and long edges of shawls and scarves. No sign of rust or dulling points so far, and I live in a coastal environment where everything eventually rusts. I wish I had purchased them sooner!5
