Cost was a bit high, and I did find it for sale at 1/3 the price at Michael's, but that's the way it goes. 5Works up nicelyThis yarn is excellent. It feels good, works up nicely in crochet. The yarn does not split easily like some. This retains its shape after washing. It is to be true to color, olive green. The price is good for the quality. Not exactly what I needed for my project, but a nice color and yarn all the same.3Pretty, Needs to be SofterI found that the yarn was a little rough for my taste. It was alright, but it wasn't "silky-soft." But that's an easily solvable problem.For any yarn that is a little scratchier than I prefer, it's fixable by take off labels, loosening the skein up with your fingers, but just a little, sticking in a mesh bag, wash with cold water, and and drying with medium heat. Out of the dryer, the skein is usually much fluffier and softer.But other than that, the yarn is quite nice. The color is lovely, the yarn is very sturdy and strong, the thickness is excellent for scarves and sweaters, and the skien produced very warm items.4Not as expectedNot soft like advertising said. Usually buy carion and will stick with it in the future. Not soft enough for a baby blanket or clothes.2True to color, but fuzzyThis yarn is very smooth. More so than the pound of love. Definitely a scarlet as the name suggests. A deep crimson color. Not a bright rainbow red as the picture suggests. Disappointed.3Amazon had this yarn color when my local stores were out Our local yarn supply stores were out of this color, and I needed an extra few skeins for a project. Although the price was higher than my local store's price, it was great to have a source so I could continue my project without any more delays. Yarn quality is excellent with a great feel and good body. 5Is this Red Heart or Vanna? I could hardly tell.Not real happy with the quality of this yarn. It feels soft in the skein, But when knitting with it, it rips your hands up like Red Heart. I knitted my Grandson a winter beanie hat with this and he loved it. Good thing because I am not going to knit another out of this yarn again. I will buy cheap acrylic Red Heart from Walmart if I want this POS quality again. Vanna, you S U C K .3PlaydoI bought this to teach a friend how to crochet. We started with the essential chaining until she was really comfortable and consistent. I don t know how many times she chained and ripped but she got it finally before she ripped the chains out so she could progress to learning stitches which she had to rip back sometimes for consistency and correction of oopsies. ;)That yarn got a hardy workout what with learning gauge and practing bit of patterns and held up well.The only thing I disliked was the fuzziness. I thought it was smooth yarn which was probably my not reading the description well enough which caused the snippers to come out to cut between the fuzz or the yarn itself.We had fun learning and playing and laughing without worrying about expense! And when I don t need it for playdo, I think I ll have enough for the odd granny square or a row within one! ;)4Very Well Made Yarn!This yarn is my go to for worsted products that I make. It is so soft and makes your items look so nice. I needed this to add on to another item and my stores were out. So glad amazon carries it!5Amazing color I recommendI looooved this color so much, very soft, I used this yarn for my yarn locs (my hair... Braided over my dreads locks then wrapped them) it lasted me 4 months, I was able to style my hair easily,wash very easily & came out easily.5
