Customer Reviews

Takes a little to get used to but Amazing ( i.e go with the upgraded version only ten bux more.) Wow, I have been looking for a good gaming mouse forever and I think I finally found it, before this the only mice i could use for League were small office mice like logitech ,305, Microsoft Mobile Mouse 3500 and 4000, the Roccat Pyra also worked for a bit as its like the smallest gaming mouse out there. When I first got this thing I didnt think it would work at all but after giving it a try I found it the best mouse I have ever used. Takes a little to get used to but once you do you wont be disappointed. However if your planning on buying this mouse go with the Upgraded Version as its only 10 bux more and has lot more features and improvements.http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Daedalus-Performance-Gaming-910-004380/dp/B00TKFD51M/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1447017506&sr=8-1&keywords=apex+logitech 5The Lighter, Cheaper, Flimsier, little brother of the Daedalus ApexThis is a good mouse, don't get me wrong, this is a very good mouse. However, it is vastly inferior to the product it seceded: the Logitech Daedalus Apex.Pros:- Incredibly accurate with far less mouse drift when compared to similar priced models from other manufacturers.- Ergonomic and very comfortable for palm-grip users. The size and shape of this mouse offer large improvements for me in quick twitch reactions compared to bulkier and more rounded models.- Easy sensitivity and macro customization through LGS.- Gorgeous minimalist silhouette compared to many other tacky gaming miceCons:- Made of cheaper plastic than the Apex you can feel the drop in build quality.- No color customization (you can still set light patterns but only in the default blue)- Less responsive than the Apex (still impressive for the price)All in all it's a great little mouse for a great low price. It may be a step down, but given that the Apex was rated as one of the best mice ever made, a step down from perfection is still pretty darn good. This will be my go-to for a low cost temporary/travel mouse4Good mouse for those just getting into PC gaming.I'm a casual PC gamer and play FPS games mainly (Overwatch and CS:GO).This mouse is pretty good. Clicking felt great. They have a switch inside so that clicks feel responsive and not mushy like normal mice. So, any games that need rapid clicking, this will do the job. Also, changing the DPI on the fly is good to have as well. The Logitech software is easy to use so that you could customize what each button does and have control over the blue light in the mouse. My only gripe about this mouse is the shape. I feel like if I went with one of the SteelSeries mice, I'd enjoy the experience more. I believe this mice is shaped so that it will be able to serve both lefty and righty users. So, this is just a preference kind of thing. Overall, it's a good mouse for both in and out of gaming.5Solid mouseGreat mouse for small-medium size hands, mainly for claw/fingertip grip. It is roughly the same size as my Logitech G Pro which is my #1 mouse for FPS games. Both are very lightweight. The G302 shape is lacking alittle with a lot of sharper edges where I think curves would be more ergonomic. I'm not a huge fan of the symmetrical shape as my ring finger feels odd on it. The biggest con is the lift off distance is higher than all my other mice. If you play with low sensitivity this could be a problem since you are lifting often. The clicks are light and satisfying and it's very easy to click fast. Would recommend if you prefer smaller mice.4Cheap, Neat, Can't be Beat I was sad to hear they discontinued the Logitech Daedalus Apex when I spied this beauty. The aesthetic design appeals to me as it feels comfortable in my hand. The curved sides make the mouse more of a diamond shape than a traditional round block. RGB accent lighting on the side also adds a neat decorative touch and can be synced with my keyboard.I was concerned the performance might be less than that of the Apex, but so far I have had no problems with the sensor.Build quality and weight are all comparable to the Apex and make this a good mouse for FPS gamers. For the price it is a solid competitor to even the budget mice that are being released today. Take for example the G203 Prodigy ($27.99 at the time of writing). I bought one but immediately returned it because the plastic felt cheaper than the ones used for more premium Logitech mice, such as the G502, and G302. (To clarify, this feels like the more premium "rubberized" plastic)All in all, a great product and one I can recommend. 5Great Value for Low End of Gaming MiceI wanted a mouse that glowed, had some extra buttons on it (but not too many) and suited a finger-tip grip.my grip: only my finger tips touch the mouse. My palm occasionally grazes the back.I've used it for: hundreds of hours of competitive League of Legends (~Diamond), daily work in an office etcMy settings: high sensitivity, no pointer acceleration. middle button = play/pause music, left-fore button = volume up, left back button = volume down. The mouse has lasted me ~4 years now and still seems to be going strong. It's a really great value for $30. When I started a new job I bought a second one for work. It seems to work great on Mac and PC though I had more trouble getting rid of pointer precision on Mac (the solution was SteerMouse's 'disable acceleration')5but it works great for League as wellReally lovely mouse. I play World of Warcraft primarily, but it works great for League as well. I have really small hands, so my old Deathadder tended to give me some pretty bad fatigue due to the wrist positioning and how far I had to spread my fingers out to reach the buttons. This thing is tremendously responsive and the buttons don't take any work to press. There's a handy button to change DPI, two side buttons and a clicky scroll wheel. Overall super comfortable to work with for many hours and the cable is really long.If you have giant manhands, this is not the mouse for you, but if you're a smaller person like I am, it'll be great!5Smaller than expected! Compare its size vs your current mouse!Mouse seems to work great but is really small even though I have smaller hands. If you are coming from a large mouse or have large hands then this is not the mouse for you. I came from a G9 laser mouse(they are all the same size) and this one is by far smaller. The weight feels good but because the mouse is smaller than I expected my thumb has a hard time sitting over the front/back buttons on the side of the mouse. I would look up the dimensions of your mouse then compare to this one to see how much of a size difference there will be before purchasing. I am used to having my hand rest on the mouse while using it but I hover above this mouse as its small for my hand so it does strain my wrist after an hour of use.Instead of returning it I'll just save it for an extra mouse.3Literal game-changer.This is the 2nd one of these I've purchased. One which I used for a few years and completely changed my ability to play FPS' like overwatch on a higher level of accuracy - I switched to the G703 for wireless and the larger hand size and that's what I use now. I've given this one to my girlfriend who loves the size and look. Also bought one recently for my daughter, because she has smaller hands as well and needed a better mouse. The software allows for RGB controls and adjustment of DPI and how many different DPI settings you can click through. It's fantastic and works extremely well. The sensor is a "flawless" sensor - and for 25 dollars, which this was on sale for at the time, it's the absolute best deal for a gaming mouse with a flawless sensor around. Ignore "gaming" mice that are cheaper or use lasers and have ridiculously high DPI, and get a logitech or another flawless optical sensor (not laser!) mouse. Check Rocket Jump Ninja's videos on youtube, he does unbiased detailed reviews on sensors and mice and helped me decide on both this and the G703. It'll change your game - literally.5Tailor made for claw grippersPros:- Solid build quality, has a certain soft matte texture which feels nice on the hand and it doesn t rattle when shaken.- Satisfying clicks due to the retention springs.- 6 Mouse feet , previous versions only had 4 that caused them to wobble.- Tacticle mouse wheel that scrolls in steps.- Sleek design with LED honeycomb sides and G logo.- Logitech software is simple and easy to use.Cons:- Unique shape, I d only recommend this for claw and fingertip grip users.- No RGB, the LED only glows blue.Other thoughts:If you're a claw grip user then this mouse was tailor made just for you. You can also get by using the fingertip grip which is how I use the mouse albeit does feel kinda awkward. My thumb doesn't have a lot to grip on due to the fact that it rests on the hump. Also if you palm grip then I suggest you look elsewhere, the small size and awkward shape of the mouse will cause your hand to cramp.5Good for beginners. So I'm writing this after a year and a few months of using this mouse. Just a disclaimer, this is just my experience with it and my experience can be affected from the different types of interactions I've had for it.Purpose of purchase: Never had a gaming mouse before, so this is my first gaming mouse. I wouldn't be the best person to ask about comparison to other mice, but I just know for my small, bear hands, this was perfect.Long story short: The mouse works well and I absolutely fell in love with it. I initially used this for Overwatch because I have a claw grip and I liked having a Mouse 3 and 4. The DPI variations weren't much, but there was basically a slow, medium, and sensitive selection. Over time, I noticed the mouse started double clicking? Now, I'm not sure if it's because there's dust under my Mouse 1 button or if it's sticky--whatever the situation may be. I've tried cleaning the mouse with alcohol, air cleaner, re-installing it, etc., but I still dealt with a lot of double clicking. Now this only started to annoy me in Stardew Valley where I started to purchase double amounts of items when I didn't intend to do so. I think after it's one year usage, its time came to retire. I will most likely use this as a back up mouse!P.S.: This mouse started becoming fun to use in clicker games :)3If you want a great mouse for your gaming needsIf you want a great mouse for your gaming needs, look no further. This lightweight beast serves me well in any game I play, MOBA or otherwise. I can still play very well in First-Person Shooters and have no problem being very accurate in game. The DPI button in the middle can be configured to change different intervals or even a smaller or larger number of DPI steps. I have mine setup for 400, 800, and 1600 for a wide variety of applications. The two additional mouse buttons can be bound to anything, but default as Mouse 4 and Mouse 5 inputs. It's good for a handy melee bind or voice comms in games that need them. 10/10 would Ace again5
