    Holiday scents!!! These are super cute and I was so excited to see these. I don't know if they stopped making Mr. Sketch and brought them back or I just didn't pay attention but was excited when I saw them. Bought some for my special needs son and he LOVES the crayons. I got him some markers for Christmas and saw these and had to have them. They aren't all spot on, unfortunately. Candy cane smells right, sugar cookie smells right, I can't figure out what christmas tree smells like, but it's not a christmas tree or even piney. I was very disappointed about that because I was most excited about it. Chimney I was very curious about, it's so hard to describe it. I expected it to be smokey and it's not. It's not bad. Just very interesting. Sugar plum smells really yummy and gingerbread is pretty close. I've smelled a lot of gingerbread scented things over the years, it's not quite there but for small children they aren't going know the difference, it smells yummy still. These will make a great stocking stuffer! 4My favorite presentation tool For decades I have used these markers for making presentations. (I am a workplace trainer.) I discovered them after I ruined my favorite dress with the indelible ink markers that my client provided me. (I tend to wave my hands around when I speak.) They are perfect - washable, bright colors, broad tips, and yes, the smell is fun. Only downside: at least once, you will sniff one, end up with ink on the tip of your nose, and NO ONE will tell you. Also, many of the markers have a strong unpleasant smell, and clients express gratitude that I use these. The yellow marker is great as a highlighter.The only reason I did not give them a 5-star rating for longevity is because I live in Colorado, and the dry client is hard on them. But I store them in zip lock bags, which solves the problem.The mega office store near our house stopped carrying them. What??!! Most people think of them only for kids and school teachers and children's librarians. I don't know what I would do without them. 5Confusing smells These markers write well. The scents are nice, not overpowering. My only issue is that a couple of them I could not figure out what the scent was. I would smell, then have to look at the label to see what it was supposed to be, and do a double take. I like to think my nose works pretty well but these had me doubting my nasal ability. Some just do not smell like the description.But they smell good. The kids love them. If they are happy, I am happy. 4If this were a drug I would be a user. My love affair with Mr. Sketch products has at times been unhealthy.Here's a confession. When I was young, I used to go over to the neighbor girl's house for the sole reason of sniffing her business. And by "business" I mean her Mr. Sketch markers. Those beautiful bastards housed in a styrofoam tray. I can still hear the squeaking as I pulled out each marker one after another and went to town with this pure nose candy.Being an eighties kid without access to all the high-level distractions of today, I simply focussed on things that smelled bloody good. Strawberry Shortcake dolls. Scratch-n-Sniff stickers. And of course, Mr. Sketch markers. I have memories of myself taking inhuman snorts off the cinnamon marker and just feeling GOOD. After my fix, I would go home with little flecks of color under my abnormally big schnoz, unable to hide my usage.Then I grew up and smelling stuff took a back seat to being a stupid adult. Bummer, right? Heck yeah.But now I got me a little kid of my own. He's too young for permanent markers, but not too young for washable ones. So I bought these.And I relapsed. 5Best Smelly Markers on the Market! Make a great gift for teachers! As a primary teacher, I use these markers ALL THE TIME for creating anchor charts, lists of anything I want the children to discuss/learn/remember, posters, centers, etc. I enjoy gifting them to my colleagues, too, as I've never known a teacher who didn't like them. GREAT GIFT FOR STUDENTS TO GIVE THEIR TEACHER FOR APPRECIATION WEEK OR CHRISTMAS!When I say I use these all the time, I mean multiple times each day. Yet they rarely run out of ink before the end of the school year! They're like magic that way! The children also love to use them for special projects or to write sentences on sentence strips because of their delicious smells. In fact, my first graders usually feel it's "THE BEST DAY EVER" when they are allowed to use these markers :) Buy yourself some. You won't regret it! 5A smash hit outta the ball park! What's smelly, colorful and has twice as much ink as other markers? Mr. Sketch! Yes! These markers are the bomb! You can use these markers to do some artwork or color over a message or symbol with a white color pencil to reveal what it is. I was super excited to see a holiday edition scented marker. Mr sketch always provides the best quality of long lasting markers. All of the scents were pleasant except for chimney, that kind of smelled like gas to me. My daughter has been using them nonstop. We are very pleased. Missing from my photo is the sugar plum scented marker, my 5 year old said she lost it. Typical kids! :) 5Love Love love love Mr Sketch!As a teacher, I use these all the time for charts and signs and often buy them as gifts for colleagues. The scents in this pack are all great, although the black licorice isn't my favorite. The colors are bold and bright. The pinks do fade pretty quickly, but the others hold up well. The ink does bleed through to the back of the paper, but it won't mark up the next paper underneath. 5Just like my childhood in art class! What can I say, these bring me back to my childhood in art class. I truly love these markers and the fact that they are now in a washable variety to appease my anal-retentiveness as a mom not wanting to get our house and my kids clothes' permanently marked, just adds the cherry on top. Even though these are washable, I haven't found the colors to be washed out in any way. And all of the scents are pleasing to us. Grape has always been my favorite since I was a kid. I put these in my kids' stockings for Christmas and then had to go ahead and by more later in order to get the other scents and colors. Glad these markers have made a come-back.My only disclaimer is that so far (knock on wood) I haven't actually had the need to test out whether these markers are really washable when they get on clothing. If and when I do, I will update this review. However, I can say the markings do easily come off of tables and walls. 5Last forever and smell wonderful! I love using these markers! They are quality in all aspects. As a teacher and mom, I am amazed at how well they work, smell, and not dry out. My students and children love to leave the caps off them. I will find them a day or more later and the marker does not even seem to be affected by the fact it had no cap. I will buy a pack of these for my classroom each year for me to use and they last all year and usually 2 or more. My children love them. They write great and smell so fun. It is great for teaching smells and colors. It is also great for a sensory experience with your kids. I love that they have the washable version of these. They do wash off well. My daughter drew all over herself many times, and the marker came right off with soap and water. She also loves to draw all over the table and high chair. Again, you would never know that marker used to be everywhere. I would highly recommend these to others. The price might seem high but they last forever and are very fun markers to use. On Amazon is the only place where I have seen this many colors in the washable version. Amazon also had the cheapest price I could find for these as well. If you are looking for something fun or a great gift for a kid learning to draw I would defiantly go with these. 5
