    Horrible MixerWas really hoping this would be great. I have had Newmark mixers for the last 25 years. The sound out of this mixer is fantastic, I just want to say that. The problem I have it that you can't isolate PGM from Cue in the headphones. Cue is totally overpowered from PGM in the headphones which makes beat mixing totally impossible. This mixer will be going back and I will continue on my search for a good mixer.1This is a great mixer at a great priceThis is a great mixer at a great price... The only thing that caused me a bit of trouble is that the measures that are listed under product dimensions are completely wrong. The mixer is 12.5 x 14 x 3.25 inches (on the page it says it's 4 x 2 x 2)..5Excellent all around as well as a Great Value Don't miss out on this.I purchased this to replace a 13 year old radio shack mixer that I've been using in my Home studio and I can say this is definitely a BIG STEP UP although the old mixer served me very well for 13 years it was getting time to replace it I love the added features of the eq controls my old board didn't even have those let alone a balance knob This mixer has more wonderful features than I ever expected as other reviewers gave it 5 stars I'm doing the same becauae for the money it's a great value and it's a good economy size as it doesn't take up too much space if you are looking for a good cost effective mixer for whatever purpose you desire This will do the job5I like these mixersI like these mixers. I have had a couple, but the crossfaders leak the audio. I have spoken to Numark just recently and they are aware all these years about the issue. I just bought there latest version and still, the issue persists. They are always good about sending a replacement crossfader, but they leak the opposite channel as well. Other than this a great mixer. I reached out to them as said " It would be great to see you make a version with a working crossfader and also considerably higher quality sound" I'd pay for a premium version of this mixer.4Broke within a few months of useWhile the unit does exactly what its designed to do, the microphone connector (XLR) broke within a few months of use. Also, the "talk over" feature is not an "active talk over", but permanently ducks the music, which doesn't help for hands-off operation. Basically, if you want to use the talk over feature, you'd have to manually switch it on when needed, turning it back off when it's not needed.While this is relatively standard with cheap mixers (sub $100), I hoped for more from this unit. Unfortunately, to no avail.I replaced it with a Mackie Pro FX. While the Mackie doesn't have talk-over at all, not even passive, they are by far better constructed and built - for nearly the same price.Market opportunity? A mixer with active talk over (music duck under) feature. Maybe someday - without running through a noise gate hack.2Nice mixer!I bought the Numark M6 to match my Numark NTX1000 turntables. I am beginner vinyl player not a DJ so I can only speak from that perspective, having said that based on what I have experienced so far a vinyl DJ would enjoy this setup. The mixer was easy to setup, I have not used the USB yet.5Clean sound and USB input...!This is my third one. I have loved them all. The first one died in an unexpected rain storm. The second one was injured protecting the laptop it was hooked up to when it got knocked off the table... Ended up giving it to another DJ buddy who needed a simple mixer and didn't need the USB input. On my third one now and hope to give it a better home than I did the others. Does all it is suppose to do without any issues ever.5It's great to have put back up when performingMy wife bought this for me about 3 months ago from the time I open the box has been nothing but thumbs up it allows me to utilize multiple controllers at any given time it's been a super super piece of equipment it was something that was missing for my studio and sound room and now when I go out to do my gigs I go out with added confidence knowing I'm putting out good high quality work and have the ability to utilize multiple pieces of equipment at any given time I think my wife so much for getting this it's a wonderful piece of equipment especially for the cost you can pay a lot of money and get less or you can really pay less and get more thumbs upDJ VomDiamond.....4Better than I anticipated!Better unit than I bargained for! I've worked on many nice mixers both DJ and live music. This unit is much nicer than the price would suggest. Very glad I picked it up. I do have to say that the cross-fader behavior threw me, but other than that, it's very nice. Both the sliders and pots move well, connections seem solid. I appreciate the XLR outs and the grounding lugs for my older turntables.I would definitely recommend this and would buy it again.4At first it was fine.. But then the crossfader slowly started to ...Ok Im going to be STRAIGHT UP with you. ..I bought this mixer a year ago when I first started scratching. At first it was fine.. But then the crossfader slowly started to bleed. I bought an innofader and had it installed in this mixer to replace the crossfader and NOW this mixer is AMAZING. Its simple and its layout is great. However, if you are going to even MARKET this to scratch DJs you need to do something about that crossfader. Its pretty bad. ALSO no xlr in the back FYI.3
