    Sticks fine to my acrylic templates.For me this did much better than I thought it would. It was easy to cut the size I needed. I've been using round rubber grip pads and sandpaper stick'em dots. I like this better, but to each their own. Yeah, it does come off but a little moisture on the surface will make it stick like new again.5Amazing Stamping AccessoryI m so glad I found this product. After reading a prior review I decided to try it for use of my clear block stamps and am here to say that it works like a charm. I mounted one side of it to my clear blocks w/Grip product and left the other side free for my poly stamps - there was more than enough of it to do two sets of clear blocks and then some...5Not for use in ruler storage rack.I struggled with this for a year before I gave up. I have a ruler rack, resulting in constant battle of trying to get ruler in rack with film scrunching up, just didn't work. I really didn't see a lot of difference with regards to stopping or reducing slippage when cutting fabric, especially on the long and large rulers. I have RA and cutting and "firmly" pressing down on ruler was frustrating. So I switched to little silicone dots! They work! I've removed all the film from all my grids and the dots don't hamper rack storage!2Really Helps To Keep Long Ruler From Slipping When Using Rotary CutterI bought the Invisigrip to put on the underside of my large, clear plexiglass rulers that I use for cutting quilting piecing and strips. No matter how much pressure I put on the rulers, I seemed to have some slippage as I cut the fabric with my rotary cutter. I am a quilter and really want my cutting to be as accurate as possible. I was pleased that this product was both easy to apply and works! It is clear so I can still see through my ruler for cutting guidelines. It was also thicker than I expected, and so was very easy to cut and apply to the underside of my ruler. It is made of soft plastic sheeting that adheres to the rulers without sticky glue or adhesive, and you can easily peel it off and put it right back on again without leaving any residue. But best of all, it really does help my rulers stay in place and not slide around as I cut. I recommend this product!!5Used to Hold Quilting Rulers Steady and it Works!My 82 year-old mother loves to quilt. She was having trouble with her rulers sliding around and getting uneven cuts. Her Occupational Therapist researched products that would help and the therapist recommended this product to keep the rulers steady. It absolutely works and my mother is happily quilting again; with straight cuts! Sometimes, a little thing like this keeps a person able to do something that they love when the going gets tough.5Worked GreatI bought this to put on the back of my clear acrylic blocks so my stamps would stick to the block....worked like a charm!5They definitely help!I have a terrible time keeping my rulers from slipping while cutting with a rotary cutter. I have found that the OmniEdge rulers are great and they have helped me to be more steady. But I still have a little trouble. So I decided to try this product. I have found that if I just put about 1" squares along the corners and center of my square rulers and 1" x 5ish" strips around the edges of my long rulers, I get great stability without using a bunch of the roll. It's also easier to apply, easier to get off if I should decide to do so. I also don't feel like I'm wasting it if I need to replace the squares after a certain length of time. Though, after a couple months of using this product on my rulers, I haven't had to replace any squares and they still grip quite well.Word to the wise: the instructions tell you to use your ruler and rotary cutter to cut the Invisible Grip to the desired size. I did this and found that it dulled my nearly-new 60mm blade sooooooo badly that I had to replace it. So, use household scissors (NOT your fabric/crafting scissors), cut squares or strips and apply them to the backs of your rulers along the edges. Use an old credit card, gift card, library card, etc. to press out any air from under the Invisible Grip, in kinda of a squeegee-motion.4Why didn't someone tell me about this product?This product is a clear piece of plastic. You cut it to size, peel off the back and attach it to your ruler. It attaches to the back of the ruler by static cling. I'm not sure, but I think it is the same static cling that prevents the ruler from moving. I purchased this product about one year ago. I am a quilter that has always had trouble with rulers slipping. This product does not glue the ruler to the fabric. I think it gives you a very slight advantage when it comes to making the ruler more stable. If you can cut out a quilt and always have a few strips that slipped this may just be the product for you. If you are expecting a product that glues the ruler to the fabric, this is not it. I use my rulers almost daily. The omnigrid grip shows no signs of wear. I do have a few rulers that don't have the backing. I can still tell the difference between those that have the backing and those that don't. My backings have not curled at the edges. I liked this product so much I told all my quilting friends about it. Most of them were already using it. I was annoyed that they hadn't told me about the product. After using the invisible grip for about a year I know why my friends didn't tell me about it. You put it on your rulers and forget about it because it is invisible. If a conversation had come up about slipping rulers, perhaps my quilting friends would have said they used it. I was hesitant to purchase this product, since I had never heard of it. In my opinion it is a vital tool in my quilting room. I would not be without it. I would only recommend it if you only have a few strips that slip. If a large percentage of your strips slip this is not the product for you.5Great for using on the back of quilting rulersGreat for using on the back of quilting rulers. I cut this in strips and affix it to the back side of the ruler to stop it from slipping. I also cut it into little thin strips to wrap around spools of thread that don't have a "catcher" to stop the thread from unwinding.5Non skidI used dots and other small "non skid" gizmos. Keeping my ruler surface even is a must. Omnigrid is easy to apply and works very well. I use it on my cutting table rulers and on my Longarm rulers.5
