    Makes more than expected!After much research this is our first foray into fuse bead activities. We haven't found any misshapen beads at all. The bucket did look rather small and I was dismayed thinking they'd only get to make about 4 each. Well the pic is what they made today AND we still have a little over half the beads left!Very active 7 and artsy 5 yo spent ALL day (starting right after breakfast and only stopping for meals and bathroom) doing this and 3 yo played with the beads a lot too. I poured the beads in a tall rimmed large stoneware plate and it didn't get spilled even once. Also we used the masking tape transfer trick (Google it) so they could keep using the boards to make more and then we ironed them all at once at night. The beads melted very nice and evenly without any strong scent which was reassuring. If you have very observant and detailed children (or a touch OCD as an adult) use your own smooth parchment paper as the fold lines on the included ironing paper do show up faintly when you fuse the beads.This is a great starter set and the 4 solid (not clear) peg board shapes were the perfect size for our kids. They liked that they glow too! It is a great cold/quiet day activity :)5Great Nanny productExactly what it is. Its a great package for a great price. Even includes ironing sheets! Shipping is great. I'm a nanny and I got it for something to do with my kids and they love it! Ages 5, 3 and 1 1/2. Of course I have to help the little one finish hers, but it is something she can do herself! The beads are easy to use, and its easy to follow a pattern or create your own. Its nice that it comes with the different plates to use. And the beads are not hard to get to glow. The glowing last for quit awhile. My kids think these are so much fun and even better that they glow. A fun craft to do on a rainy day.5Perler kandi kidSo many perlers so little time5Great Product! Kids love it! You should buy it! My 7 & 9 year old daughters love this. They've made stars, moons, crosses, and all kinds of other stuff. They stick them on their bedroom walls, and they like watching them glow. Fun craft product. Would buy again. 5LOVE this project and all of my kids do to! This is a great toy. Girls and boys of all ages love these. I have a 19, 16, and 9 year old and they will all sit, along with me, and make these. This bucket is fun because they glow in the dark. They are a great addition to our collection of these beads and come with the templates, which is great. 5Glowing Review for Beads-No New Face PlatesI bought these as a summer craft for my preteen daughter. We've used Perler beads before but just discovered these glow in the dark ones. Very Cool!This seems to be a good, even mix of yellowish/green (standard glow in dark color), blue, pink, orange and black. You will definitely want to buy additional beads (as of this writing, it's cheaper to buy an additional bucket instead of multiple add-on beads).The pegged plates (white, non-glowing) included in this set are shaped pretty standard for Perler variations: Circle, Hexagram, Hexagon and Square. It would have been great to have at least one specific space-themed shape: a rocket, comet or Saturn...This is the one aspect that limits the fun, particularly for kids that are already very familiar with other Perler bead sets and are tired of the same shaped plates.The glowing factor makes these beads very popular. Highly recommended for sleepovers/lock-ins, etc...It's a safe and constructive project to keep kids busy while enjoying nighttime fun.4Wonderful fun for all agesThis bucket is great- I bought it for myself (a bored teenager), and it arrived right on time. The beads really do glow in the dark (save for the black ones, of course), and the pegboards are satisfactory. It came with the iron paper you need to iron your projects, and so really the only things you need to supply are the iron and your imagination! I would certainly buy again.5They Glow, but Melt SlowerHooray, they actually glow! Biggest worry getting these is they would have an inferior glow. It is slightly odd and not a huge deal but they seemed to take a little longer (seconds) to melt versus the non-glowing counterparts. It was not enough to mess up any projects we completed but worth mentioning in the review. We will likely get these again.4Perler beads are so much fun and every child should experience playing with thesePerler beads are so much fun and every child should experience playing with these! They are tiny beads with holes in the middle and there are peg boards in this bucket that you use to make shapes with. I use regular wax paper and an iron to melt the beads and complete my daughters projects! We do them together all the time and I love this bucket that comes with the boards as well!5Hours of fun!Amazed how long this held my daughters attention (8 and 12)! Simple enough for my youngest and the never ending possibilities kept the oldest busy! Need some supervision for the ironing but doesn t take long. They also really enjoyed the glow in the dark pieces, work well!5Great for crafting.We ve been crafting more with all this extra time at home. This is really easy to use and my girls love designing new things every day. The glow in the dark perlers are their favorite.5
