Fits GreatWhile I agree with others that the sheepskin is a bit high on the strap, it still functions perfectly on my shoulder. I'm guessing that, if you play with the guitar very low on your torso, the sheepskin may be misplaced. For me, with the strap nearly at its shortest length, the fit is great. I really like this strap. It's way better than the stiff Planet Waves cheapie.5Great strap, depending on a couple of things! Many other reviewers have mentioned that the placement of the sheepskin is a little odd on the strap, and I agree... if you're using this strap with a guitar.Fortunately for me I'm using the strap with a banjo, which has to be slung high in order to play correctly. In my case, the sheepskin is in exactly the right place, and while maybe not the absolute highest quality material, for the price it seems nice and feels comfortable. So yeah, if you're tall or prefer to have your guitar slung low, the placement of the sheepskin pad definitely seems a little off, but if you wear your guitar up high, or are using it with an instrument such as a banjo (or probably a mandolin) which has to be high, it's a great choice. Looks good feels good.5This is the second one of these I've ordered and I'll probably be ordering another...This is the second one of these I've ordered and I'll probably be ordering another... I play bass--4, 5, and 6 string--and this strap is absolutely perfect for all three and the varying weights. Just the other night I lugged the sixer with one of these for three 50 minute sets and no problem. Super-comfortable, strap locks fit great in them--just use a socket wrench to REALLY tighten it down. Only downside, the most recent one smells like a sharpie...but hey, I think it adds to the buzz of drinkin' beers (kidding, just Febreeze it and you're all good). Seriously, great deal.5Beautiful StrapPurchased this for Fender MIM Player Strat. They contrast of this light tan strap against the dark blueburst color of the strat is very attractive. It is a tad long if you are not the type that likes to stand and strum the guitar around your ankles. There are ways of taking up the slack by weaving in and thru the end piece but this somewhat detracts from the appearance. Very nice soft padded strap. Definitely recommend this strap.5Actually i love this strapActually i love this strap. I normally play with a 3.75 or 4 wide strap but this feels just fine. And smells nice too! Super soft and doesnt worry me when it hits my guitar in and out of the case. Might get one for my old fender Leo banjo next5Comfortable, looks goodGift for son. New electric guitar player (really good one in my opinion). Cheaper nylon strap dug into his neck. This strap is well cushioned and softer, looks really good with his blue guitar. As a bonus ( wasnt expecting it) , it had a big 'P' on the strap for Perris but our last name begins with P so he thinks its neat.5Super Comfortable - Looks GreatPROs:Soft supple leatherThick enough to feel it has some substanceluxuriously soft sheepskin paddingCONS:Probably too short for people who like to low sling itPadding may not be in proper place for longest lengthFor me, this product is perfect. I keep my guitar medium, high to my body. I'm 5'11" using a Washburn Delta King and at the third setting from shortest it's perfect for me. The padding may be a bit off of the shoulder or you may have to flip the strap around to get it on your shoulder at the longest setting. It should position well on an acoustic guitar with a string to lengthen it.The product, out of the box has a heavy aroma similar to but not exactly what I'd expect for new leather. That should wear off eventually and is already fading. There is also a lot of leather bits pilling off of the strap but that has slowed significantly. The sheepskin is so soft, I wish I had a blanket and pillow made out of this stuff. The padding on the strap isn't so thick as to get in the way but provides the perfect amount of cushioning, none the less. I think this strap would be comfortable even without the sheepskin, given how supple the leather is.This medium to dark brown looks great on my rich red guitar with cream accents.I'm new to guitar, so my comparisons are limited but, for the price, this beats the pants off the nylon/cotton one I was using before.5High quality but really small.Let me be clear, the quality of materials and construction is very good but this particular one is small and the padding starts very close to the large end so it doesn't really cover over the shoulder (actually touches the guitar). I guess guitar straps are a personal thing and should be tried in person.Holds my acoustic dreadnaught up at chest height at longest set up. Pity because the leather and padding are so nice.3Don t use without adding keepers!!!!Found out the hard way this does not stay on. Brand new, first time I put it on the guitar and it let go. Thought since it was new and difficult to put on it would stay on. Yes, I made sure it was all the way around the peg.So a broken neck later, I can tell you it is soft and feels nice, but don t use it without keepers!!!!3Nice strap for the price, and is adjustable to my needsFor the price, this is a nice strap, and is quite adjustable. I am not sure why others have problems with this in the reviews. I have a post installed on the bottom of my neck near the body, not the peg-head strap, although I have other guitars that don't have that post installed, and will use the peg-head strap. It seems to me without having tried it yet that it should fit just fine. I got a pack of the strap locks, and they fit nice and snug.It does have a touch of a "cheap" smell to it, but looks nice, and for the price, I am happy with it. To be honest, I am ready to spring the $44.00 for a nice Martin leather strap, pf the one I saw at guitar center for the same price which was much nicer and softer leather, but I have several instruments, and can use 2 or 3 anyway.4
