    Great tool for oil painting Great tool for oil painting. Unfortunately we don't get Catalyst wedges in Argentina. So I bought it by amazon, while a friend was staying in the States. 5Versatile tool, not too soft, not too hard, just right. Easy to clean. Using 4 cold wax oil painting You can see in the photos, the tulip shapes. I carved those out with this tool. It allowed me to take jus what I wanted, off.From the first use I used this tool the most, while starting to experiment & play with cold wax & oil paint. Wrong color choice? No problem - just firmly scrape it all down & wipe the wedge clean. Need a cool texture? Just turn & lightly move. The possibilities are endless. I wish / hope they make this in a slightly smaller size too. 5Five Stars So much fun to work with this tool. Previously, I had been using the flat surface on the 'backside' of paint tubes. I saw a YouTube video where an artist was using one of these wedges, so I decided to give it a shot. It allows you make some interesting gestures that 'smoothly' move the paint.
