Customer Reviews
Crappy packaging, good brushes
The brush came with sticky residue all over the handle. I ve used these brushes before and they are good brushes, but the seller needs to work on packaging and shipping; item parts should not need to be cleaned with alcohol before use. Other than that, I recommend this brand of brushes.
3NOT A CONVENTIONAL REVIEWI purchased the petite monogram in 20/0 and I have to say it s well made and phenomenal for gel pot eyeliner! It s a paint brush but it functions beautifully in a dense bulletproof liner gel (AMC Inglot). As you can imagine with bulletproof it can be a chore to clean. I ve experienced absolutely no shedding. I have to wash it several times to remove the liner. Now I m also an artist that paints. I can tell you if you need a quality fine line brush I d highly recommend this brush, unless of course you prefer a longer handle. I have petite hands and wear a 5 1/2 on my ring finger if that s helpful. Anyway I couldn t be happier with this little gem! I ve ordered multiples.5Cheap and withstands abuse. An excellent line from Princeton!
I am very impressed by the quality of the Princeton Select line. I have other dedicated watercolor brushes, as I find these do not hold much water, but I still love these brushes for gouache. The handles are a hard, sturdy plastic, and the ferrule seems to have been glued tightly. Hairs are a sturdy but flexible synthetic that have stood up to my constant scraping against dried gouache and textured watercolor papers. I had originally bought a few in-store several months ago, and they have held up so well that I have purchased this pack for my younger brother to use with gouache. Quality is exactly the same, and he loves them with his new paints as well.
5Liner brush rates a 5; seller a 2.5I ordered two liner brushes at the same time, same size, even used the pull down menu and selected "2.". Two separate packages arrived, both brushes had the same item number on them, but one is a liner and the other one is small flat brush. Useless to me for the project I needed. The liner brush did have a protective plastic housing on the bristles so they were in good condition! In terms of the actual item, the one liner brush worked well the first time I used it this evening. It allows a thin even line to be painted just as I wanted.5Superb angle paintbrushThis is an awesome angled paintbrush! I just started rock painting and was looking for something to make my dot painting more enjoyable and this is the perfect tool to add to my dotting tools! It is so easy to use. Because of the angle, I am able to get the paint exactly where I want it. If you are looking for something help your fine and precise dots or small details, this is certainly the brush you are looking for!5Bad!when I got it, I opened it and saw the protector was off. And the brush was already frayed and open because of no protection. That's like buying a broken item.1Fabulous BlenderAbsolutely the best blender brush I've got, and I've got quite a few. It's the only one that doesn't cause the paper to pill. Forget about whether or not it's going to tear the paper, pilling it the bigger problem and takes away the sizing and texture of the paper. This blender is the perfect stiffness to remove mistakes without leaving any telltale signs. I've just ordered another in a smaller size.5Nice for makeupLove this! I use it with a serum recommend by a YouTuber in order to do winged eyeliner on my hooded eyelids, and it's the only combination of products that allow me to have a wing that looks great on my eye type! Definitely recommend buying!5Brush comes loose in box, without protection.
Brush was unpackaged alone in a medium box with air pillows to take up space. It fell out as I opened it, as it had been smashed up by the packing pillows. NOT a very good way of protecting it at all.
1Deceiving brush. When I first opened the packaging on the brush I was SO excited. The bristles seemed like excellent quality, soft, tightly formed, etc. I couldn t want to see how well it worked (as most of my brushes aren t very nice quality). When I first used it to apply paint, it was fantastic. Until I rinsed it with water. ONCE. The second I brought the brush out of the water it was as if a toddler had gotten a hold of it. The bristles were ALL OVER THE PLACE. And it s been that way ever since. I ve never seen a paint brush do this after ONE RINSE of water. I m upset as this brush was over $8!!! I would ve been better off buying a brush worth 50 cents!1Total bargain! REALLY Happy with its performance & effects!!!WOW... just LOVE the ease of going from a wide application of paint to an extreme fine-tip for detailing without having to change brushes! (I'm impatient that way, so this one is ideal for that reason). It performs really well, & is easy to handle. I used it with water colors, but I'll probably get another one for acrylics as well, and may even try the 2 smaller versions of this same brush (I have the Pointed Filbert Size 6, but there's also a 4 and a 2). The handle is just the right size too because it fits in the plastic travel case that comes with the Artsy brand 38 pan set of watercolors (another AMAZING product). Total bargain and REALLY Happy with how fun it was to paint with this brush! Yay! :D5Bent bristlesBent... I received this in a huge box, and there was no protective plastic sleeve around the bristles. The label on the brush was stuck to the plastic bag and the bristles were sliced into the corner of the bag at an almost 90 degree angle. I was hoping they would straighten out after getting it wet, but they did not. Highly disappointed. Would have been an easy fix, just add the plastic sleeve to the brush.1Very Nice Brush..A Totally KeeperLove this brush, the Strokes are really very beautiful when the paint slides across the canvas it leaves an elegant look for something like flowers I am sure. I am not a professional painter but when I used this to paint with the bristles are thinner and jagged at the top giving it a really nice line when painting. The Size is nice and short. stays close in your hand and I love the feel of the wood finish on this brush it is probably a professional kind just small. I really like it so I am glad I purchased it. From the photos you should noticed how well made it is.4
