    Great kitI got this kit because I love the way quilling looks. I make all my own greeting cards. People tell me how great the cards look, but I have to admit that quilling is really quite easy. This kit was great to get me started. It has everything I needed to start, and since then, I have only had to add more paper strips. I have used the included glue to make more than a dozen cards. The instructions are very detailed, which was really nice for a beginner (and still useful now that I am more experienced). Highly recommend this kit to get anyone started on quilling.5defective the slotted tool did not have a slot in it making beginning try very difficult now have to buy s slotted tool separately 2The instructions are in color and easy to use I like that it has a few ...It came with a ruler that has different sized circles in it. It wasn't in the description so I ended up ordering a 2nd kit to get that ruler. Wish it came with a small cork board. It came with 2 sizes of quilling tools, long tweezers, glue, ruler with holes for help making the circles a consistent size, spaces for google eyes, and short papers. I found this kit and bought it.When the kit arrived, it resembled a double sided pencil box or perhaps a small tackle box. I opened it and figured out what each of the pieces were. The book that comes with it describes the process pretty well with pictures and all. Once I got down the basics, I was able to sort of "wing it" and create my own designs fairly easily. On our anniversary, she loved it.Bottom line, if you know nothing about quilling but want to learn, get this. The tools aren't professional quality, but it does come with glue, the paper, and even a couple of small cards you can use. It contains everything you need to get started as well as good instructions. I've used these kits for classes and my students (as well as myself) have continued to use this handy, two-sided box and it's contents well after classes were over. I found that their tools are a much higher quality than the items included in the KLUTZ Kit for the grand-kids (which...is adorable)... Although the Tool BOX should be 1" longer / wider to better accommodate holding paper or 1/2 page size items in the back compartment it didn't deserve demoting a star for it...
