    Ink Pad works well with clear stamps - Waterproof ink - Made In USAInk Pad works well with clear stamps. Used it with clear stamps to make color wheels and test swatches on watercolor paper. The ink is waterproof and works well on watercolor paper. Watercolor paint on top of the stamped image did not bleed. Made In USA 5The container isn't as good as it should beThe ink itself seems to be OK, but if you have background or large stamps and press the ink pad to the stamp instead of the other way around, you might find the base of the ink pad container difficult to hang onto because it's thin. Its thinness makes it difficult to hang onto the base of the container while inking up large stamps without getting ink on your fingertips and then accidently transferring smudges to your card. 3Was almost dried out when I received itThe ink pad was almost dried out when I tried using it for the first time. I got maybe 6 solid stamps out of it and then it started getting dry and faded looking. Was really excited about this color, but didn t work out. Maybe I got a bad batch? 1Nice ink pad....has lasted me monthsThis ink pad is awesome. I've had mine a few months now and use it regularly. I have had no issues with drying out. It is pigmented and it goes on the stamper well. It is true black. clean up from the stampers is easy too. It dries fairly quick on paper. Now I just got to get many more colors. I use this in my bible art journaling, scrapbooking and planner. 5Ink Dried OutThe ink pad arrived sealed but the ink had dried out when I opened it. I used it on two tags, both were ruined. The ink pad must have been dry when it was sealed. 1Quality ink, stamps wellI recently rediscovered my box of vintage 80's rubber stamps and needed ink. The holidays are approaching, so green and red seemed the obvious choice but the cobalt ink pad caught my eye. My holiday stamp of an angel over the word PEACE looks gorgeous in cobalt on the envelope flap of the cards I'm sending. This is quality ink and stamps well. Being truly archival ink is a bonus although I'm just having quick fun with my old rubber stamps. 5nice deep dark colorI had bought a different brand prior to buying this one, a washable one, and this one worked a lot nicer. It has a nice deep color. I did learn the hard way that you can't really remove this from fabrics if you drop it face down on your sofa.... 5DisappointingBuyer beware. The inked felt pad is only 3" x 2", almost 1" smaller in each direction than the case (3 7/8" x 2 3/4") and smaller than the Amazon specifications (3.9" x 2.8"). This was too small for my stamp, insufficient for inking properly in one movement. What I ordered would have been just right. What I got is too small, a letdown for me.There's not much ink on it, either. Luckily, I also ordered a bottle of Archival Ink in the same color. On the downside here is that when used the ink leaks under the cap and around the bottle's neck. Ruined clothes and books are in my future.This was to have been used for an Ex Libris stamp. You only get one shot stamping a page in a book. Looks like I'm going another route here. 1Used as Bible GildingColor: CobaltUsed in combination with "Mini Ink Blending Tool" and with about 4 coats, ended up with pictured results. Pretty basic dark blue, looks good over original silver gild. You won't achieve the Imperial Blue color that comes on Schuyler bibles, but looks pretty cool nonetheless. 4Excellent permanent waterproof ink in usable sizeArchival Jet Black is truly one of those 'everyone must have' ink pads for every stamper! It's really hard to find this in a standard size pad, so grab one while it's here! I have a hard time using the jumbo pads with a MISTI stamping tool, so this size is perfect! Because it's a permanent waterprooof ink, it's great for stamping if you're going to watercolor or use distress inks or watercolor markers. 5
