Customer Reviews
Not as good as most Ranger powders I've usedThe color is a true green like if you mixed equal parts bright primary yellow and blue kindergarten paints. But the product didn't sprinkle on or melt as well as other Ranger powders I've used. I used it on Kraft paper and it ended up looking lumpy/gross because this powder wasn't really the same fine quality as other Ranger powders. I kept trying but just couldn't pick up a lot of details so gave up with this color. Maybe it was a bad batch or got heated in storage/transit or something, I've never had this problem with Ranger powders.3disappointedI had heard a lot of good things about this embossing powder. It is not the color of platinum; more of an antique gold. I bought it specifically for sentiments and it did a poor job with detail stamps. Recollections Champagne pearl embossing powder is very close to this in color but prettier, works very well with detail stamps and cost much less. Made this purchase a complete waste of money.1Worth every penny. The design being used requires complete coverage without build-up with a fine powder. The product delivered on all requirements I needed including being opaque through the process. It's cost was more than i wanted to spend. I am happy that i bought it. I'll use this manufacturer in the future.5beautifulThis powder embossed nicely, and the finished color is lovely; more like a subtle champagne gold.5Beautiful, elegant colorWhat a great color. It has become my favorite. Classy, elegant, antique platinum color reminds me of old classic jewelry. Despite not being a "detail" powder, it embosses intricate designs pretty well. But it's the color that gets me. Looks especially great on black paper.5Doesn't work for meTried various times to get this to work. It didn't. I tried with 3 different pens: bullet, brush and black embossing pens. I also tried another powder (super fine silver) pictured at the top, and it worked. I ordered this one because I needed blue for my daughter's Sweet 16 invitations. It's not working for me.1Awesome!!!When I read the reviews, and some of them complained about the red. I don't know what they were complaining about. I love the red. All the colors are so vibrant. Before using, I shake the container to mix the embossing powder and glitter. When I run out, I will definitely reorder this product.5Great product, poor packaging. The glitter fine. A great color and it's a bit darker than the picture eludes. It's a very true gold. But it was not sealed and spilled all over the inside of the package. I'm really disappointed it wasn't in a bag or something to prevent glitter from getting everywhere. I don't know if all the glitter is packaged unsealed or if I just received a used or defective jar. But the glitter itself is a very pretty color and it holds well!3It s not the purple you see in the picture...I thought the purple was going to be darker like in the picture (that nice royal purple) but when it came- it doesn t look that dark (while in the bottle) and when embossed it comes out more like a pastel purple. Anyhow even though I wasn t expecting pastel purple, my card still turned out nice (because I happen to like light purple too). But if you are truly expecting your product to look like the dark purple in the picture though- you re going to be disappointed. I ll post a picture of my card so you can see how light it turns out.5Just OKI have ranger embossing powders that I absolutely love. These, however, are subpar to me... I think it has to do with the larger glitter flakes. I just wasn't too impressed with the way they melted. The gold and blue were OK, the red and green were pretty bad, and the white I have mixed feelings on. The white bits of the powder melted nicely and the holographic bits were pretty but they didn't mix well making the overall outcome patchy. It's hard to see in the photos I took. I think I'll stick with the regular powders and not the glittery ones (unfortunately). BTW, I will add the price was really good though compared to craft stores. Significantly cheaper on here..3
