Time to live my childhood again! This seems to work fine. The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because the cord seems to come off easily from the console. It only happened once but still worth mentioning.4Works well for Super SD System 3If you are connecting your Super SD System 3 (which is the accessory for the PC Engine / Turbo Grafx that allows you to play ROMs) to a TV with RCA jacks, this inexpensive cable works well!5For the price...Well for $6 total including shipping, it is not bad. The video quality is fine. The audio however as mentioned in other reviews is what gets it. What is supposed to be connected to right audio is connected to mono and what is supposed to be left audio is connected to left. So, when you plug both audio plugs in, it is quiet and sounds garbled because the two left chanels are cancelling eachother out. But connecting just one ( preferably the right plug so you get all the audio) sounds fine. Especially in my case where it is going into an RF modulator and coming out mono into a TV that only has one speaker anyway. But aside from that, the cable is standard quality not thick or thin, just average and it is 6ft long like advertized. So all in all for the price, if you don't care about stereo sound it is good.3Perfectly adequate.Inexpensive, the build quality is fine, normal length, and has no issues. What more could you want in a cable?5Worked perfectly between my Sega Genesis and new Smart TV!I wanted to hook up my old Sega Genesis to my modern Samsung Smart TV, and these have worked perfectly. Cheers!5Good. Perfectly OK to buy. Read caveats and addendums below.Cable is less expensively made and looks to be less durable than the factory version, but is perfectly serviceable if you're going to put your Genesis somewhere and never move it. If you're going to need to reconnect and connect frequently, or put it in the hands of a child, spend a few more bucks. But for me putting mine in a cabinet with all my other old retro consoles on an 8-way switch... Perfect.4Let's set the record straightThese arrived in a Retro-Bit box exactly like the picture in the description. It is a nine-pin AV cable with video+stereo (yellow, red, and white) output. It absolutely worked 100% with my Sega Genesis (model 2) and my Sega 32X.So for compatibility, here you go:Genesis Model 1 without 32X: Incompatible (uses different AV cable)Genesis Model 1 with 32X: Compatible (32X includes model 1 adapter)Genesis Model 2 without 32X: CompatibleGenesis Model 2 with 32X: Compatible (these use the same AV cable)Genesis Model 3 without 32X: CompatibleGenesis Model 3 with 32X: N/A (32X not supported on model 3)Great price, decent quality, very happy with it.5Outstanding video cable for the Sega NomadHaving this cable for the Sega Nomad is paramount, the flexibility of the cables allows for the freedom of movement you might need while playing but offers the screen to be on the LCD. Looks great upscaled. But the point I'm making is the cable is not ridged and stiff, as to put unnecessary strain on the video out port. I love my Sega Nomad and really do not want a cable ruining its video port, this cable rock's.5Not all it seems...If your criteria is "it outputs video and sound", it's a good product. However, there's something else going on here. The white plug, which should be connected to the left audio channel, is actually connected to the right audio channel. The red plug, which should be connected to the right audio channel, is actually connected to mono. So what you get isn't 100% stereo, and what is stereo is reversed. If anyone else with a multimeter wants to ring it, here's the pinout:http://www.gamesx.com/avpinouts/genesisav.htmRed plug should be connected to 9. It is actually connected to 6.White plug should be connected to 8. It is actually connected to 9.2It totally works on Sega Genesis 2Not sure what some people on this reviews mean about this not fitting their Genesis 2, it totally does, it super easy. The cable itself is sturdier than I was expecting.5
