    UsefulMy daughter LOVES this at set. It contains a variety of materials for multiple art projects. I did not give it a 5 though because the handle on the case came off only a couple of days after she received it. Also, the items inside move around and get broke when you try to carry the case by the handle. 5Arrived intact; Instructions would be niceI was worried after reading some of the other reviews, but we got lucky. The box arrived in one piece. All items are accounted for and none are broken. The drawers aren't falling apart. Everything seems nice and sound! A few pieces had bounced out of their tray in shipping, causing one of the drawers to not open easily, but once we pulled the drawer out and retrieved the two loose pieces, all was well. (They weren't broken.) One odd thing: you need to do a little bit of assembly, yet there is absolutely zero documentation about this. Not even a tiny piece of paper with a bad diagram. Nothing. I saw that another reviewer had loaded some assembly pics, and now I know why. Very thoughtful. Our son will love this, and we consider it a great value for the price. 5Good, quality buy.Gave this as a birthday gift to a second daughter and she loved it as the forst ine did. The mannequin could be made better, but I am pleased with all the options here that do not include markers, paints, or oil pastels. I will say though that the top opens k. This is a design flaw as the top/easel should open so the pencil trays are accessable while you are creating. The handle was also changed and is not as good as the older model. Comes with starter paper. The sharpener is very nice. 4It's not perfect, but it's still a great set for beginners!I'm a very novice artist, and I've always gotten interested on/off... I've always been into sketching, and recently discovered the beauty of watercolor pencils.I was originally looking for these two things separate, and then looking into sketch pads... etc. Thankfully I had came across this set. I will admit some of the reviews made me think twice, but I took the chance and thought if all else fails, I can just return it - but I'm very glad I made this purchase.I had initially just expected it to be a bigger box, but I'm not at all disappointed in the size, in-fact I like it smaller.Nothing of mine came broken, but I will agree too that the actual box itself and what the pencils and such are lying in is cheaply made -I went to pull out the bottom drawer and the bottom of the box had binned in, making it a pain to force back in. (I just won't be fully pulling out that drawer anymore).Also, if you were to actually carry it on it's side, the pencils would fall out of the little packaging, but I did read a review of how someone fixed this problem.I would have loved if it at least came with a little booklet describing what the products are used for, or how to 'properly' use them, but that's something easily researched.Also. It doesn't come with any assembly instructions, and I will be looking for that online as well.The paper pads are only 15 pages each, and not a very high gram or anything.. but they are nice to at least start you off.I'm not at much liberty to say how much the quality of the actual pencils and such are, but one reviewer that was more of a professional said he loved this to re-stock some of his collection, so that gave me an extra added push. (And they don't seem cheap too me)Overall, I think if you're considering this you should go ahead and take the chance. If you just happened to get a bad shipment, just return it - I loved Amazon's price and Prime shipping as always. 5Drawing easelI bought this for my 11 year old grand daughter. She loved it!! It had a variety of drawing and sketching tools - pencils, pastels, etc. She is a beginning artist so this was perfect. The easel was sturdy and in great condition. 5Great giftThis was a present and the review is based on the feedback and what I've seen of the item.According to the person who received the present (I asked objective feedback), the set contains the basic items required for sketching and drawing.I liked the wood case, seems tough and functional, really allowing the owner to safely move around all the articles inside.The only minus I found is that 4 out of the 12 compressed graphite sticks were received broken, everything else was fine. 4Great set for beginner to intermediate artistBought this set as a gift for an "advanced beginner" just getting back into drawing. The quality of the pencils and the variety is excellent. 5Great for artistsI am 13 years old and I highly recommend this easel. This easel is a little bit fragile but if you are a person like me, who takes good care of their things, then it should be just fine for you. I had to take it in my carry on bag form Florida to South America and the bag didn't get treated very well, yet it is all in one piece. The number of pencils, the variety and the pigments where so perfect.Due to circumstances beyond my control, I lost my box in a storage unit and I've been heartbroken ever since. 5Nice set but easel doesn't stay upMy daughter likes to draw so I got this for her 13th birthday. When it came in the mail I opened the box and checked everything, and it all seemed in order and nothing was broken. There were 2 sets of screws and no instructions on where to put them, but I kind of figured out where they went. I got it for the fact that she could use it as an easel but it doesn't stay up. I will have to figure out a way to get it to stay up better since that was the main reason of getting it. But overall it's a nice set and she really likes it. I don't really know anything about the quality of art supplies, I wouldn't say it was very high quality but it didn't seem too cheap either, and for a 13 year old or beginner/intermediate artist it works. 4
