I used this kit for my drawing 1 class and am still using it today. Last for a long time and is pretty durable. 5Perfect This was a gift - he was super excited to try it 5A good selection for a beginner I can't speak to the needs of a more accomplished artist, but as a beginner, I like this set a lot - it gives me a good selection of the pencils & graphite sticks I need while learning to draw. Gives me many options without overwhelming me with too many choices. : ) 5Solid quality graphites in a worthless storage tin. The quality of the graphite pencils and drawing sticks is surprisingly good for the low price. I've been using them for a week now and I haven't noticed any irregularities in hardness or texture thus far. Both pencils and sticks seem to be consistent. So, I'm pleased with the quality of these drawing supplies. The only negative is the low quality of the metal storage tin. It is unbelievably thin and flimsy. In fact, mine arrived permanently warped. I wouldn't trust it to protect anything, much less delicate graphites, so I will carry them in a more durable storage container when I need to take them into the field. Other than that, I'm quite pleased with the set. I will definitely consider buying them again. 4Dented box kept this from a 5 star rating but that is all that was wrong. I liked the product and the price, I was disappointed in the package. The nice little metal box was all dented. I see that they are out of stock now so maybe it was send the dented box or make her wait. In this case I don't really need the box, had it been a gift I would have been very upset.
