Worked great for drawstring bag! Transfer requires high heat - Tip for putting on synthetic fabric! These letters were great for putting on my son's last name on his drawstring bag for sports. It's iron on, so be aware of what kind of fabric you are putting these on because the bag is made of acrylic and you have to set the iron on high heat to do the transfer. I keep a long piece of linen fabric around for this purpose. It is a scrap I got from the local fabric store and is plain white. I use it to put over surfaces that need high heat (i.e., hems that need "witch stitch" that requires high heat, but fabric is not cotton, etc.) I placed the linen over the letters after lining them up. To line them up, I used a ruler and a special fabric pencil (also from sewing store) that you can erase or washes out.) I slowly ironed each letter and it came out great without melting or warping the bag anywhere.5Not for the long haulLetters stuck to daughters shirt for soccer but don t expect much more than 5 washes. Letters started coming off. Would be good as a short one or twice wear4Work great, but don't follow the directions! These iron-on letters were great for shirts that my 5k team made. My only warning is that the ironing directions are incorrect. You have to peel off the letters, place them on the fabric, and then iron them. If you follow the directions, the letters will be backwards.4Letters look and work great--if you receive the correct size! This is my second order of these letters. I ordered some several months ago and ironed the letters onto a couple of t-shirts. They worked well and held up great to repeated washing. Be cautious not to use too much heat--my first letters slightly yellowed. After I turned down the heat the next shirt looked great. I ordered two additional packages but the letters I received were the wrong size--which is a hassle since I really wanted them in time for the kids' first game of the year but will have to wait for replacements to arrive.3Buyer beware! The letters are nice and big, however the picture shows a sheet with 2 of each letter and it says 3 sheets. I needed the letters to make 6 shirts and when they arrived different than pictured I was unable to complete the project because I didn't have enough. Now I have to order something else! Buyer beware- there is only 1 of each letter in this pack!1Only contains 1 of each Letter (2 of C, L, M, N, R, S, T). 2 of VowelsPicture is wrong. Only contains 1 of each Letter (2 of C, L, M, N, R, S, T), 2 of Vowels, 2 periods.Letters are decent. Pealed slowly starting from many edges and didnt have any issues. Before you peel, the side facing you (rough, offwhite when compared to the backing white its printed on) is the glue side you put face down. The side that you expose as you peel is the flock side (not shiney, more fuzzy and white). The flock side is the side that you apply the iron to. I had a dry iron and had no problems with sticking.4Do it right the 1st time, follow instructionsEasy to use, adhesion was good at first, but as soon as pressure was put on the letter, they peeled off. I was able to reattach so that makes me think i did something wrong. I was able to reattach, and i followed instructions to the "t" and it came off in the wash.3GARBAGE - Look ElsewhereIf you re planning to use this for something you d never actually wear, then these might be the trick. Otherwise, these are garbage. Had to buy 2 packs just to spell out a full word and after one wear they are already peeling. Only plus is that they were easy to apply. There s better ones out there.1Does not work as described. They directions are off. You must hold on the iron for a long time. To the point where you might need to worry about how hot the fabric is. When you do that they hold up well. We had 2 different pants but same material. The first one we did we only did a little longer and they fell off. The second we did a lot longer and they have stayed on.3Simple to use!I finally got around to using these and they were simple. I'm not crafty so I was pleasantly surprised by my handiwork here!5
