    Quality Has Gone in Toilet... So DisappointingI'm sooooo very disappointed & saddened by the extreme drop in quality of this product to the point I would never recommend ordering online where you cannot inspect them, as they apparently have no QC at the mfgr. I have a much older release set of this item, which I love above all others, so I decided to get a new set for myself, as well as some for gifts. NEVER AGAIN. Out of THREE full sets of these, about 50% of the knitting needles have major defects! Several of the tips are rough, with creases and/or "chewed up" spots where the coating is missing and the metal is damaged, and several others have missing patches of paint or what appears to be where scratched/damaged needles were painted over and shipped out even damaged. One needle the plastic piece is attached far higher than it's supposed to be, and another the piece fell off as soon as it came out of the package. And the packaging was not damaged on any of these, so the needles weren't damaged after packaging. Such a loss for this product do decline from amazing to junk. 1NiceReasonable set for me to learn how to knit. 5Straight Knitting NeedlesYes, you might think they are old-fashioned--but sometimes, you need them even while doing a circular needles project!
