    Spinner package could be better.The lack of stars on sturdiness is the packaging, not the needles themselves. There are various sizes, the value is good, but mine came with the largest needle slanted into another needles spot. It made it impossible to turn to get the needle you want. I had to tear apart the handy little spinner to get one needle. So now I have a lot of individual needles with no storage case.3Sold as new in package, arrived with missing needles and package had been resealed to look like newPackage was supposed to be new and in original factory packaging. I ordered these for one specific size needle, but it had been removed and the package resealed to look like it was New. I will keep the others and test them to see how they work. They look very thin and flimsy compared to the ones Singer used to sell, either that, or someone took the rest of the needles and substituted cheap knock offs.1Decent Needles For The Cost!Decent needles, however some are so small they are almost impossible to use. The container could also use some adjustments, as it is very difficult to rotate to remove a needle. However, for the price it is a bargain.3Very happy with itI didn t even realize there were different kinds of these little needle discs, but this Singer one is SO much better than the other one I had! It just has the tiny opening on the side, whereas my old one would always get needles stuck in the place for the needle-threader. Much happier with this one.5Nice starter setA nice starter set for those just beginning to sew, or to replace old needles. These Singer needles look nothing like the pack I got back in the 80 s (1980 s pack on left, 2019 pack on right). Even the plastic compact is of inferior quality, and the barely visible and crooked print on the 2019 compact makes me suspect that these needles are counterfeit Singer.The 1980 s pack has a variety of needles in a variety of sizes, lengths, and thicknesses, with different sized eyes. The needles in the 2019 pack are all very thin by comparison, equally thin, and they all have the same sized tiny eye. Most of them are the same length. There is just one noticeably different needle in the 2019 pack, a very slightly thicker embroidery needle with an eye about 2/3 the length of the eye of the 1980 s embroidery needle. The quality of the needles of each pack differs markedly as well; the 1980 s needles are thick and sturdy with clearly visible eyes, while the 2019 needles are thin and flimsy with tiny eyes. Even the metal of the 2019 needles is suspiciously shiny as opposed to their 1980 s counterparts, and they look like they could easily snap and impale one s fingers. I doubt the 2019 needles will last anywhere near as long as the 1980 s needles have already lasted.Guess nobody makes nothin like they used to - scary how much I sound like my grandparents anymore.1
