    Needle broke in the first useWow it broke the first time I tried it. It says it s titanium, but not even as good as regular needles.1These are good needles for Singer machinesThese work exactly the way I expected. I broke a few sharp-point needles before trying to use them on the wrong fabrics (jersey-knits) because I didn't know what I was doing. Now I know I need these needles for jersey-knit fabric because of the ballpoint. I have no problems now with using the wrong needles on the wrong fabric, since I learned that not all needles are created equal. My stupid mistakes taught me a valuable lesson but I'm glad I found these before I broke any more needles.5Buy the good stuffWhen we lived on St. Thomas, I had very little access to craft supplies. Learned the hard way not to buy knock off needles and bobbins. Ordered these and had my daughter send them to me - of course they worked perfectly! They do break or bend eventually, but nowhere NEAR as quickly as regular ones. They definitely live up to the advertised "4x stronger"! I'm a costume designer and these titanium jammies are super strong and hardy. I recommend every sewer have at least one package of these in their stash!!5solid, well-made needles to fit most machines.I prefer to use these needles over standard needles because they last a bit longer, but other than lasting power there's not much difference between these and regular needles. I sew on my machine several times a week for several hours per day, so I need needles that can hold up to lots of heavy use without going dull. If you're just a casual sewer, you may be fine with using standard universal needles. But if you're like me and you really need something built to last, I'd recommend giving these a go.5Love being able to sew through any fabric!I'm a beginner sewer and these were just what I needed.
