Customer Reviews

A must have!!I bought a new fender telecaster in December and after a few weeks I suddenly realized I didn't have a case. I have many guitars and cases for the ones I gig with. I started looking for a case and I thought oh wow these things are expensive. Like $100 expense. I just want something to carry it in that way it won't get broke. I found this case and it was cheaper than the rest so I bought it. When I first got it I was amazed how good it looked. Not only did the outside look great but so did the inside. It even has a look and two keys. Very convenient if I can say. It has a few compartments in the inside to keep strings, picks, etc. Overall it is a GREAT buy. I would for sure recommend it. In fact I already have!5A good case and good valueThere were no reviews for this case but I took a chance and bought it and I'm glad I did. It's light and yet so solid that I tested it -- I weigh 170 lbs. and I stood on the [empty] case. It was fine. It's a hard plastic shell with an aluminum interlocking edge that goes all the way around where the lid meets the body. There are metal hinges on one side and three metal buckles on the other. Inside it has a plush black lining that fits a Telecaster well, with no moving around when the case is closed. There's a one foot long groove inside that supports the guitar's neck, instead of some cases where the neck rests on one narrow point. It has feet on the side and bottom, and will stand on end too, though not perfectly straight. On the negative side, on mine two of the buckles required a small adjustment to get them to close firmly into place withoutrattling. The handle is plain hard plastic. And the two small storage areas on either side of the neck don't have lids, but they do seal shut when the case is closed.I had ordered a $50 Musician's Gear electric guitar case from Musician's Friend, but it arrived damaged and it was flimsy so I sent it back. This is built way better and looks nicer too. For some reason Amazon only has one photo of this online but if you search there are more pics on other sites.(EDIT: After about three years of use one of the feet popped out while the case was being transported in the front seat of my car. Then two years after that another one of the feet came off, so now it's down to 2 out of 4. So it doesn't stand up well any more but it's a good case otherwise.)5Fits my Fender Modern Player Telecaster Thin-line like a gloveFits my Fender Modern Player Telecaster Thin-line like a glove. It protects the guitar at home and while traveling in the van. there is room in the case for tuner, strap, pack of strings, string winder and capo. I do not handle my equipment ruff like some stage hands, nor do I fly with it, if I did I would need a stronger case.5Great caseThis is a great case for the price. This fits the length of my 1992 Carvin DC127 perfectly (more or less the same shape as a Strat or an Ibanez, with a long pointed headstock). The inside is about a half inch wider at the body than it needs to be for this guitar, but I don't consider that a problem for a rather generic case. I would consider the build quality, strength, features, hardware, etc. to be better than my original Carvin case. Highly recommended.5Nice guitar case! This case is much nicer than I'd expected it to be for it's price! Durable heavy duty plastic with a nice, well balanced handle. This case was made for my Fender Squier Statocaster Electric guitar, which it fits perfectly and I really like the soft, well padded interior lining. There are cloth cross connectors between the top and bottom halves of the case so that the lid opens and stays at the 90 degree angle. It has a raised solid channel to cradle the neck and a body cutout shape that fits my strat. It also has an open section for accessories such as my tuner and metronome and extra strings and tools. All fits well and stays put when the case is closed. It's also got 3 solid hinges, and 3 latches ... one with a lock with two keys. The top and bottom halves of the case are joined using an interlocking aluminum grooved channel that seals the case, effectively.I find that everything except my amplifier fits nicely into this case so, I'm quite happy with it!5A very nice case indeedArrived even a little earlier than promised. A very nice case indeed. My Strat fits in it perfectly. The compartments do not have doors but not really needed anyway. When you shut the case the upper molding encloses them just fine. Nice looking. Sturdy. I'd trust my Strat on a plane as long as it was locked. Keys provided to lock it work well. I may order another one for another guitar soon. I think you'll be well pleased with this one. Not big enough for a hollow body electric but I can see a Tele or Jackson type guitar fitting fine.5my SKB guitar case reviewgreat case. fits my strat style peavey predator plus tremolo almost as if it were made for it, but mine came as the universal one with a square box on the right and not an hourglass form fitting one. since I don't have a form fitting case I can't say if the peavey would fit in that one. (25.5" scale / 22 frets / 6 inline tuning keys)inside it is soft and lined with a fake type of fur that provides an additional type of cushion. great case for an amazing price. like some others I got crappy non working keys too. not like a screwdriver couldn't pry it open without even exerting yourself, but it would have been a nice way of not letting people look inside or play with what was in there. but other than that it's great for the money. (paid $70.70 but it's $85 at the moment so take my comment with a grain of salt about it being great for the money. still good, but it now looks like an extra $30 for an OEM Ibanez RG case that fit's in this may be the option I exercise for my new guitar I just purchased)5Have read reviews indicating it is not sturdy enough, and granted if it is being giged ...Have read reviews indicating it is not sturdy enough, and granted if it is being giged and slung about certainly it could be damaged, but I find it to be more than adequate, and light years beyond a gig bag. I agree it would be nice to have covers over internal storage compartments, but things stay put for me, and the plush lining and fit are fine. Use it to store my strat and fit is perfect.5This is a fairly sturdy case with no special featuresThis is a fairly sturdy case with no special features. It does it's job as a case, although other reviewers are correct when they say that it stinks. I have left it sit open for days and it still smells bad. I use it to transport a guitar, but would never store a guitar in it due to the possibility that the smell would transfer to the guitar. Too bad, otherwise it is a good deal. I recommend another choice if you don't have other cases or gig bags to store your guitar in.2UPS arrived a bit late after the 2014 blizzard ....but worth the waitStrat fits perfectly in this super sturdy case. Absolutely travel ready!Max instrument protection incorporating an aluminum "rim" design that secures the lid to the base creating a complete sealing effect and rock-solid closure. All 3 latches are well positioned with one locking using the included key(s). Handle is solid and comfortable to hold and well balanced. 2 large storage compartments inside.Very affordable and very well worth it.5
